Westwoods Golf Course is open and allowing carts today.

The weather's finally stopped playing hard to get, daddy-o. The rain's packed up its bongos and hit the road, leaving us with a mighty fine day to chase that little white ball across the green scene.

Now lend me your ears for a moment. The tee sheet's gonna be tighter than a jazz quartet this week. We've got a pair of happenings rolling into town:

On both days, the first available tee times won't be until 1:00 PM. So if you're looking to groove your way around the course, be sure to check the online tee sheet and snag your spot while the getting's good.

☀️🔥 HEAT WARNING... OR GOLF WARNING? 🔥☀️

Westwoods Golf Course is OPEN and allowing carts today! 🏌️‍♂️⛳

It's going to be HOT out there today. We're talking "the fairway is lava" hot. Make sure you take every precaution possible:

✅ Sunscreen
✅ Water bottles
✅ Cooling towels
✅ A hat
✅ A parasol
✅ Sunglasses
✅ A portable fan
✅ Another water bottle
✅ Maybe a second cooling towel
✅ Stay inside

Seriously, stay hydrated and take care of yourself out there. The golf ball may soar in this heat, but so can your body temperature!

A big congratulations to the Knicks for bringing the NBA Championship back to New York after all these years! 🏀🏆 New York fans have waited a long time for this one, and today they're probably celebrating almost as hard as golfers finding a cart with a fully charged battery.

The tee sheet is busy again, but honestly… when is it not? 😂 If you’re trying to sneak in a round, check the website for any last-minute openings and grab them while you can!

And in other important news: today is National Forklift Safety Day. So whether you’re moving pallets, loading carts, or just admiring a forklift from a respectful distance — be safe out there, everyone. No good ever comes from an unsafe forklift. Trust us on that one. 🚜💥❌😂😂😂😂

Dear Hoomans,

Good news! Westwoods is OPEN and allowing carts today! ☀️🐾 The weather is supposed to be paws-itively beautiful, so if you can get a tee time, you should definitely do it. I don't know exactly what a tee time is, but every time the hoomans get one, they seem very excited.

Yesterday was a very big day for me. I met my very first turtle. At first, I thought it was a rock. Then the rock looked at me. I wasn't sure how I felt about that. 🐢🤔

I also wanted to say THANK YOU to all the kind folks from Jacklin' Rod and Gun who came down to visit! There were lots of belly rubs, ear scratches, and the game the hoomans call "hit ball with stick." Everyone seemed happy to meet me, and I was definitely happy to meet all of you.

The hooman behind the counter told me to remind everyone that if you need a time to come play today, use the spider-place [the website] to book your tee time. Apparently that's easier than barking at the pro shop.

Hope to see lots of friendly faces, golf carts, and maybe even another walking rock today!

☀️⛳ GOOD MORNING, GOLFERS! ⛳☀️

Westwoods Golf Course is OPEN and allowing carts today, and we're looking at what might just be a perfect day for golf! After the storm rolled through last night, the course came out looking pretty good, but there are still a few puddles and bits of debris hanging around here and there.

A couple friendly reminders:
💧 Wear your waterproof shoes unless you enjoy discovering puddles the hard way.
🚗 Please pay attention while driving your carts. The fairways are in good shape, but Mother Nature left us a few surprises overnight.

The tee sheet is looking pretty full today, but if you're hoping to sneak in a last-minute round, check online at westwoodsgc.com. You never know when a spot might open up!

And before you head to the first tee, Carol's is serving breakfast this morning. Grab a BEC (Bacon, Egg & Cheese) before your round. It's much easier to blame a three-putt on your swing than on an empty stomach. 🍳🥓

The grounds crew has already had their morning workout picking up after the storm, so do them a favor and keep your golf balls on the fairway today. We know that's a big ask for some of you. 😄
