Cornish, is an 18-hole, 4407 yard, par-61 country setting golf course located in the Southwest corner of Farmington. The course plays long, but the short layout will reward good shots and provide a fun golf outing for everyone. practice green, a driving range with 20 mats and 10 grass tees, carts, pro-shop, private lessons, youth camps and seasonal restaurant.

There are still tee times available at Westwoods today, so come celebrate Labor Day the proper way — with sunshine, friends, and hopefully a few fewer three-putts. 😂

🏌️‍♂️ THE MUNI CREW IS GOING BIRDIE HUNTING — AND WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🐦⛳

On October 15, Westwood's Golf Professionals Steve Shelley and Eddie White (along with 28 other teams) will take on a 36-hole scramble at Shuttle Meadow Country Club as part of Birdies Fore Brighter Futures.

But this one is about a lot more than golf.

Every birdie we make — and every donation we collect — helps support the Connecticut PGA Golf Foundation and Connecticut Children’s Foundation, organizations doing incredible work right here in our community.

You can support The MUNI Crew with a pledge per birdie or a flat donation. No amount is too small, and every dollar helps us turn a good day on the golf course into something much bigger.

🌅 THE DAYS ARE GETTING SHORTER… AND SO IS CART TIME! ⛳

As we head into September, daylight is starting to disappear a little earlier each evening.

Beginning Saturday, September 5th, our golf cart rental cutoffs will be:

🚗 18-Hole Cart Rentals: Last rental at 3:00 PM
🚗 9-Hole Cart Rentals: Last rental at 5:00 PM

The course will still be here — the sun just refuses to cooperate with our golf schedules. 😎

Please plan your tee times accordingly, and we appreciate everyone helping us get carts safely back in before dark!

My dear golfers,

It is with great pleasure that I announce that Westwoods is OPEN and allowing carts today! 🏌️‍♂️⛳️

The weather, while decidedly cloudy, shall be warm, and therefore quite agreeable for an afternoon upon the links. One could hardly ask for a better excuse to abandon one’s responsibilities and play a round of golf. 😉

There is, however, some unfortunate news from the Pro Shop…Stella is not at work this morning. 🐶💤

It appears the young lady found her bed far more agreeable than her professional obligations and has elected to remain in her quarters until further notice.
I must confess, I find such behavior entirely unbecoming of a shop dog.
Though, between ourselves… she does look rather comfortable. 😂

So, if you should find yourself with nothing pressing upon your calendar today, do come down to Westwoods, take a cart, and enjoy a warm and cloudy day upon the course.

Stella may not approve of rising early, but surely you shall! 🎩⛳️

Good morning, my dear golfers! A jolly good day to you! Westwoods is OPEN and allowing carts today! 🏌️‍♂️⛳️

Now, it may be a spot of a soggy one, so do be a good sport and bring your brolly ☂️ and your waterproof shoes! 👞💦 After all, a little drizzle is no reason to be a bother. We’re practically made for a bit of British weather!

🎶 With an umbrella in your hand,
And waterproof shoes so grand,
You’ll stroll onto the first tee,
As happy as a golfer can be! 🎶

And speaking of things rather spiffing… 👀

A little birdy has whispered that NEW SWEATSHIRTS are coming to the Pro Shop! 🐦👕 Keep your peepers peeled, because when they arrive, you’ll be looking smart as a whip, right as rain, and positively posh! 🎩✨

📣 Now, one small but important announcement, if you please!

Next Monday, September 7th, is Labor Day, and because it’s a holiday, our 5-Day Passes will NOT be honored that day. So don’t turn up on Monday expecting to sneak past the gate like a cheeky little chimney sweep! 😉

And if you’re the sort who enjoys a quiet, peaceful golf course, with plenty of open space and nary a crowd in sight... TODAY IS YOUR DAY! 🎉⛳️

So grab your clubs, fetch your brolly, put on your waterproof shoes and pop down to Westwoods for a jolly good round!

📞🚨 THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM NAKATOMI PLAZA… 🚨📞

“Listen carefully, golfers. We have control of the situation.” 😎 Westwoods Golf Course is OPEN and allowing carts today. ⛳🚗💨The weather forecast is calling for ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY. 🌤️ And frankly, it would be a shame to waste it.
You have a limited window of opportunity before the rain arrives later this week. 🌧️
So here are our demands:

🏌️ Play 18 holes.
🚗 Take a cart.
🌞 Enjoy the sunshine.
🍺 Have a cold one afterward.
⛳ And whatever you do… DO NOT NEGOTIATE WITH THE WEATHER.
You have until the rain gets here.
