I just received the sneak peek of Addison’s senior pictures and… OH. MY. HEART. 🥹❤️

They are absolutely gorgeous, and Heidi Green did an amazing job capturing my girl!

How is it possible that the baby girl who made me a Mom is now a SENIOR in high school?! 🎓

The time has flown by.

Addison, I am so incredibly proud of the young woman you have become and continue to become.

You are kind, thoughtful, loyal, resilient, empathetic, strong-willed, confident, fun, and yes… you definitely have a little bit of sass. 😉❤️

But one of the things I love most is the way you shine your light so brightly for the world to see.

I’m blessed, grateful, and thankful every single day that God chose me to be your Mom.

I pray your senior year is filled with adventures, laughter, fun, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime.

This year will hold so many “lasts,” but also so many incredible new beginnings.

𝙏𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬, 𝙄 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚. 🎤

And there's one woman I've been thinking about as I've prepared this talk.

She's capable.

She's accomplished.

She's the person other people turn to.

And yet, somewhere along the way, she stopped fully trusting herself.

She second-guesses decisions she already knows the answer to.

She stays quiet when something inside her wants to speak.

She puts everyone else's needs ahead of her own.

She knows she's meant for more—but she's still looking outside herself for permission to become the woman she already knows she can be.

𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝗜'𝗺 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟.

Self-abandonment often happens in moments so small we barely notice them.

You say yes when you want to say no.

You know what you want—but ask everyone else what they think first.

You have something to say—but stay silent because you don't want to make someone uncomfortable.

You keep showing up for everyone else while quietly breaking the commitments you've made to yourself.

Eventually, those moments affect more than your confidence.

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝.

Because every time you override what you know to be true, you're reinforcing the belief that someone else's judgment deserves more trust than your own.

So try something today.

Before seeking outside validation, pause and ask:

"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲?"

Then give yourself enough space to hear the answer.

Self-trust isn't something you're born with or without.

𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟.

𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙙𝙖𝙮.

It’s about understanding what matters, making realistic choices with the time you have, and knowing how to adjust when life changes the plan.

Today, I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon teaching and coaching an incredible group of women around time, priorities, planning, boundaries, and navigating the unexpected.

What made the experience so powerful wasn’t simply the material.

It was the interaction.

The questions.
The laughter.
The real-life examples.
The conversations.
And the incredible 𝗔-𝗛𝗔 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 when a new way of looking at something suddenly clicked.

One of my favorite reminders from today was:

𝐀 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐲.

You can reassess.
Reprioritize.
Adjust.
And keep moving forward.

That is what meaningful training should create, not simply more information, but 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with these women today and excited to continue supporting them through individual coaching and future learning together.

Because here's what I've learned:

You can be successful and still be disconnected from yourself.

You can be capable and still second-guess every decision.

You can be the woman everyone relies on while quietly abandoning your own voice, needs, boundaries, and intuition.

And eventually, it catches up with you.

In this talk, I'll take women through the leadership shift that happens when we stop looking outside ourselves for permission and begin building the self-trust, clarity, and conviction required to lead ourselves unapologetically.

I'll be sharing practical tools and strategies women can take with them long after they leave the room.

And I'm especially excited about the opportunity to connect in person with entrepreneurs, executives, business owners, and professionals from New Hampshire and Massachusetts who are building, leading, and creating what's next.

This isn't just another networking event. It's an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, exchange ideas, discover new opportunities, and support local community impact and a portion of ticket sales will be donated to local charities.
