Atlantic Shipping says that seven of the 28 containers brought on the Atlantic Express's most recent voyage have already been released in Praia. On October 23, the vessel arrived in the port of Cabo Verde's capital.
Shipments that are still outstanding from the last journey are expected to become available for pickup and collection this week.
In São Vicente, seven out of 11 containers unloaded at Porto Grande in Mindelo are currently available for pickup.

For over thirty years, Alberto de Pina, also known as Beto, has been a regular sender to his home island of Brava in Cabo Verde as a client of Atlantic Shipping.

Valdir Gomes, a Boston resident, went to the Atlantic Shipping warehouse to ship packages to his family in Cabo Verde.
Valdir sends goods to family on the islands of Fogo and Santiago as the circumstances allow. He hopes that other Cape Verdeans in the diaspora will follow suit, using Atlantic Shipping's services to support their families and friends back home.
Valdir, a longtime customer who is interested in the company's activities, says he pays close attention to the updates and information given on its social media channels.
