While the facts are clear, the Holocaust must never be forgotten.

Join us for the official opening of the Holocaust and Genocide Collection at the Bristol Community College Library TODAY!

The evening begins at 4 p.m. with a discussion with Mark Ludwig, Boston Symphony Orchestra Member Emeritus, Executive Director and Founder of Terezín Music Foundation.

Ludwig will discuss his book "The Will to Live," featuring examples of artwork produced at Terezín, a N**i camp where 33,000 people died and a remarkable community of musicians and artists answered despair with creativity.

Following the presentation, at 5 p.m., we will be unveiling the new library collection, which has been curated over many years by the Bristol Holocaust and Genocide Center alongside Library staff. The collection seeks to provide historical information, educational context and multimedia resources to communicate the suffering, pain and death of innocent millions who were impacted by the Holocaust and other genocides.

Exploring the lives of victims, perpetrators, rescuers and bystanders is an important step in memorializing the atrocities committed against the people of Jewish descent and others during World War II by the Hitler/N**i regime, as well as those harmed by genocides throughout history.

We warmly welcome you to celebrate this unique collection of resources.
