We recently completed the renovation of an existing playground at the Shenendehowa United Methodist Church Preschool in Clifton Park. This project included removing the existing playground equipment, adding a new border, leveling the existing site to include hauling out some of the existing earth, installing new w**d mat, a King Swings Commercial playset, Henderson Recreation stand one riders, and a truckload of new rubber mulch!

Excited to share our freshly completed light commercial playground at the Hope Hall School in Rochester. The existing playground is over 11,000 sft and included some well loved but tired playground equipment, surfacing that had broken down over time, and was due for some TLC. It needed a makeover! Our design team worked with the school to identify items that could be salvaged and some new items that would add excitement to the space. We developed a budget and the school went to work raising the funding. About six months after we first sat down they rang the bell and hit their goal!! Amazing work!

Our install team mobilized on site to demo the existing wooden playset and some other climbing items. We added a new double bay swing beam and POD Climber along with a massive new play set. A total of 10 benches and 12,000 sft of w**dguard was installed, along with an expanded border to provide the required safety zone. Lastly, 350 cubic yards, 3.5 tractor trailer loads, of Wood Carpet (certified playground mulch) was installed to the required minimum depth of 12"!!! Our team put in long days and worked till dark to minimize the downtime for the students. We are proud to be able to reopen the playground with only 10 days of downtime.

We thank the team at Hope Hall for trusting us with this project and loved seeing the excitement amongst your students.

One of our largest school projects is well underway following a break in the rain. This project entails removing a rotted, unsafe wooden playset and other hazards, adding new swings and other climbing features, enlarging the existing bordered area, installing new w**dguard, and filling the area with the required 12 inches of wood carpet, totaling 350 yards. Look for further updates as this one progresses.

We are grateful The Sara Marie School in Clifton Park trusted Finger Lakes Recreation to get the most from their playground budget (and then some!). The school began working with our in-house design team to check off all the must haves for this new playground. Targeting a spring install, we removed the existing rubber mulch, then disposed of the existing well loved play set. Starting at daylight the next school day during an April snow shower we moved in the new play set, laid new w**d guard, and had an epic build day. We completed the installation of a Hemit Play house and custom Cosmic Launcher playset on a cold wet spring day. Following completion of the build we reinstalled the existing rubber mulch. There will be some very happy kids tomorrow! It was a lot of fun seeing the kids excitement throughout our progress today. Special thanks to Joanna Pendergast for making it all happen.

How much MORE FUN would Grandma's house be, with a set like this in her backyard?! She'll like it for its compact size & cottage look.
