We’re adding a new sponsorship opportunity at Fairmont Raceway that will put your business directly into our Victory Lane photos throughout the 2027 season!

We are looking for season-long sponsor for the 18" x 36" checks at $3,000. Your company logo will appear prominently in the bottom-left corner of the checks presented to our five feature winners each race night.

Not ready to commit to the full season? We’re also starting a list of businesses interested in sponsoring the checks for one night:

🔴 18" x 36" checks — $200 per night
🔴 2' x 4' checks — $325 per night

The check size can ultimately be customized to fit what your business wants to do for its sponsored night.

We can also arrange to have a matching display made for your office or shop. It would resemble a deposit slip and feature the names of all five winners from your night—a unique keepsake showing your support of Fairmont Raceway and our drivers!

🏁 DOUG GERHARDT HAS COMMITTED TO A SIXTH SEASON AT FAIRMONT RACEWAY! 🏁

Doug decided he wouldn’t know what to do with himself if he didn’t have 11 acres of racetrack property to mow every week! 😂

With that settled, we are moving forward with preparations for the 2027 racing season and beginning to fill our 2027 weekly sponsorship schedule.

Now is the time for sponsors to contact us and discuss what you would like to make special about your sponsored race night. Whether it’s a giveaway, employee or customer appreciation night, special promotion or another unique idea, we want to work with you to make your night stand out.

We will also likely add some regional touring shows once those series have their 2027 schedules finalized.

Bringing the USMTS back to Fairmont Raceway is also a possibility! To make that happen, we are looking for a second sponsor willing to contribute $6,000 to help cover the purse.

The USMTS sponsor or sponsors will receive a great deal of exposure leading up to the event, including frequent social media shoutouts and name recognition during our weekly radio broadcasts.

If your business is interested in sponsoring a weekly race night, helping bring in a regional series or becoming part of a possible USMTS event, now is the time to begin the conversation!

FAIRMONT, Minn. — August 29, 2026 — The Fairmont Raceway family is asking everyone in our racing community to keep Cade Lehr and his family in their thoughts and prayers following a serious medical emergency Friday evening.

Cade suffered a heart attack while at Fairmont Raceway. Track emergency personnel evaluated him and strongly advised that he seek immediate treatment at the emergency room. Cade was later airlifted to Mayo Clinic Hospital–Saint Marys Campus in Rochester, where he underwent an emergency procedure and had two stents placed.

We are thankful to share that Cade is now up and beginning the process of recovery and adjusting to a new normal. He is expected to undergo an additional surgery on Monday, August 31.

Our entire Fairmont Raceway family extends its heartfelt love and support to Cade; his wife, Kara Lehr; his daughter, Marissa Anderson; and his son-in-law, Taylor Anderson. The racing community has always been a family, and now is the time for all of us to rally around the Lehr family as Cade continues his recovery.

We are incredibly grateful for the quick response and care provided by Fairmont Raceway’s emergency personnel, along with every medical professional who has cared for Cade throughout this frightening experience.

Please join us in sending Cade strength, encouragement and prayers in the days ahead. We wish him a successful surgery on Monday and a strong, steady recovery.

IT IS FRIDAY AUGUST 28TH AND IT IS THE FINAL RACE!!

It’s our final race of the season, featuring the USRA Ironman B‑Mods racing for $1,400 to win and $150 to start!

Tonight’s schedule:

IMPORTANT FOR POWDER PUFF AND MECHANICS RACE PARTICIPANTS:

Anyone planning to participate must be signed into the pits, sign the pit waiver and purchase a pit pass. Your pit pass also provides access to the grandstands.

A grandstand ticket alone does not allow anyone to get into a race car. You must have signed the pit waiver and purchased a pit pass before participating.

After the final feature, one lucky child between the ages of 4 and 12 will win the Polaris Outlaw 110! A huge thank-you to Mankato Motorsports and Boji Powersports for making this incredible season-long giveaway possible.

Here is your complete rundown for our final race of the 2026 season this Friday, August 28!

⏰ START TIMES

• Pits and grandstands open at 5:30 PM

🏁 RUNNING ORDER

After the regular program, we will finish the racing action with combined Powder Puff and Mechanics Races. Each class must have at least four participating cars for its race to be held.

The Polaris Outlaw 110 will be given away after Friday night’s final feature!

The winning child and a guardian must be present to win. The winner must present their portion of the winning ticket, and the guardian will need to show a photo ID when accepting the four-wheeler.

A big thank you to Paul Kolden with North Star Scale for getting our track scale repaired, calibrated and ready to go this week!

DRIVERS—PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

Our scale has been professionally calibrated. If your car has been close to minimum weight, make sure you adjust accordingly before Friday night.

We strongly encourage every driver who believes they may be on the light side to cross the scale after hot laps. That gives you an opportunity to verify your weight and make any necessary adjustments before racing begins.

Do not wait until after the feature to find out your car is light. The scale is dialed in, Bob Gram will be ready, and all cars must meet their required minimum weight. 🏁
