We used a combination to set a trap, then worked different follow-ups depending on the reaction. Really proud of how everyone picked it up and kept sharpening it round after round.

Tuesday night technical sparring at C3.

A lot of good work going on in the room. Different partners, different styles, and plenty of rounds to work on timing, defense and staying relaxed under pressure.

Nobody needs to “win” sparring. The goal is to get better, help your partners get better, and leave the gym sharper than when you walked in.

ONE SAMURAI 3 🇯🇵

What a night in Yokohama.

Great fights, great energy and another big step forward for the ONE SAMURAI series. I really enjoyed watching this card come together and seeing these athletes go out there and deliver … and man, did they deliver !

MMA, Muay Thai and kickboxing all represented, and the Japanese talent continues to show why this market is so important for ONE Championship. Proud of everyone who played a part in making this event happen and the ONE Championship teams who worked so hard to make this event a success !

Big night for Charlie’s Combat Club at COGA 93: Combat Games , Battle at the Bay at Clearwater Casino. Three C3 fighters stepped in tonight and all three represented the gym well.

Pavel got it done with a third-round choke, staying patient, composed, and finding the finish when it was there.

Kevin Gutierrez battled all the way to a split-decision victory in a tough fight. And this one isn’t over — the plan is to run it back against the same opponent for the Combat Games title.

And I’m proud of Jerry for stepping up after his original opponent pulled out. He had a few days to prepare for a new matchup at a higher weight class, accepted the challenge, and went out there and competed hard. The result didn’t go our way, but he showed a lot of grit, gained valuable experience, and represented C3 the right way.

A big thank you to Chris Vasil, Bilal Hasan, and Jake Furney for helping the guys through camp and at the event, and to everyone at Charlie’s Combat Club who helped them prepare and came out tonight to support them.

Two wins, one tough battle, and a lot to be proud of. Nights like this are why we do it.

Great to have one of our former C3 fighters, Jonny “Cage” Gilbertson, back on the mats and sharing his knowledge!

Jonny was a four-time Washington State placer, a state finalist and a Fargo All-American in both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. He went on to compile an 11-2 MMA record, win three titles and earn a unanimous-decision victory in Zhengzhou, China.

For a short time, Jonny will be teaching MMA Wrestling every Friday at C3. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn from someone who has successfully used his wrestling at every level … from the state podium to professional MMA.

Three C3 fighters. One big night. 👊

This Saturday, September 5, Jerry Yourdon, Pavel Bredikhin and Kevin Gutierrez step into the cage at Combat Games 93 at the Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort.

Jerry Yourdon puts his undefeated 2-0 record on the line against Dominick Hall.

Pavel Bredikhin takes on Daniel Grajeda in a 155-pound matchup.

Kevin Gutierrez faces Jassiah Smith at 170 pounds.

All three of these guys have put in the work, pushed through the hard days and are ready to represent Charlie’s Combat Club. I’m proud of the preparation I’ve seen from each of them, and now it’s time to go show everyone what C3 fighters are all about!

Shanghai photo dump 🇨🇳📸

From the streets and sights of Shanghai to fight week and the UFC, this was a trip I’ll never forget. It’s pretty incredible to think that the work being done every day inside a small gym in Everett, Washington, carried us all the way across the world to this moment.

Proud of Bilal, proud of our coaches, and proud of everyone at Charlie’s Combat Club who helped make this journey possible. No matter how far we travel, we always represent C3. 🖤💛

WHAT A NIGHT IN SHANGHAI! 🇨🇳🔥

Congratulations to Bilal “The Indo Ninja” Hasan on an incredible performance and a spectacular knockout victory in his UFC debut!

Just 18 days after earning his UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series, Bilal stepped into the Octagon against another undefeated fighter and delivered a huge right hand for the second-round knockout. He is now 10-0, and the world is starting to see what all of us at Charlie’s Combat Club have known for years. This young man is special.

It was an honor to experience this moment alongside Bilal’s father, Jamal, and Coach Ryan Diaz. An extra special thank you to Ryan for traveling halfway around the world to join us and for everything he did to help ensure Bilal was prepared for success. Having you here meant a great deal to all of us.

Thank you to all of our coaches, students, teammates and new partners at Charlie’s Combat Club who have supported Bilal and contributed to this journey. Every round, every practice and every bit of encouragement helped make this moment possible.

Finally, thank you to the fans from Everett to Indonesia and all over the world who continue to show Bilal so much love. We appreciate every message, post and person cheering him on.
