It's that time of the year!! Signups are right around the corner!!!

The JRC is open to any and all students in grades 6-12. The Everett High School Team is open to students of Everett and Bedford High Schools in grades 9-12. You do have to join the JRC to be on the HS Team, but you do NOT need to join the team if you only want to shoot in the JRC!!

All first year members of the JRC must attend and pass our safety course held on Saturday Sept. 19th from 8am-3pm and Sunday Sept. 20th from 1-5pm. This will be the only dates that our safety course will be offered this year.

New chapters are starting as our grads head off to college BUT the pride that we have for all of our kids won’t change!! We’ll undoubtedly have outstanding accomplishments to keep sharing with everyone!!

First update of the new season is that we have a USA Olympic Futures Team member!! 🇺🇸 🦅Congrats Karlie, can’t wait to see you keep climbing to the top and going for gold soon!!🏅

Champions don’t wait. They work. 💪🏼🏆

We kicked off our ESJRC summer program this weekend with a great clinic with Team Winning Solutions!! Lucas and Jeanne were outstanding to work with and shared so much knowledge and experience with our kids!! We’re really excited to see our crew continue to build on everything we trained for this weekend!!

Did I mention how freaking cool it was to learn from an Olympic silver medalist?!?!?!

TWS also professionally serviced and cleaned just shy of 60 rifles during their stay with us. Shoutout to TWS gunsmith, Tim, for his hard work to get everything finished before leaving to catch a flight on Sunday to Munich, Germany for an ISSF World Cup Match!!

Thank you Best Way Pizza - Everett for our lunch on Saturday!!

Thank you Lucas and Jeanne for everything this weekend!! We all appreciated everything you did for us and can’t wait to have you back!!

Success isn’t accidental. It’s a coordinated effort to become the best you’re capable of being. But this means being willing to put the time in. We already go above and beyond with so much, but I can sense the kids being ready for more. Without a doubt, it’s going to be another special year, so stay tuned!!! 😏

Our inaugural Community Challenge was a huge success!! So thankful for the support shown to the team and all the laughs we had all weekend long!! And most importantly, thank you for a safe match!!!

Scores will be posted in the comments. The top 6 are a little scewed as we all have at least shot the sport in this millennium… Everyone else either shot many moons ago or never shot precision in their life!!! I give a lot of props to everyone that came out and gave it their best shot!!

For some score context, our lowest individual varsity score shot on the team all year was a 248, and the lowest team score was a 1391. Take a look over these scores from this weekend, 99% of them would never have a chance of making our varsity team!! 😂

While most scores were pretty rough, the scores at the top were pretty decent!!

Yes, we wanted everyone to have some fun with this, but our primary goal was to give our community a firsthand experience at this sport and see that this is nowhere near as easy as so many people assume!! High scores don’t happen on accident. We put in countless hours at the range 12 months out of the year preparing to be the best that we can be, and our kids have earned ALL of their success!!

We’re already brainstorming ideas for next year and really looking forward to making this an annual event!!

Match is this weekend!! It’s not too late to signup!! Come accept our challenge!!

Think our sport looks easy?? Confident that you can shoot a high score?? Possibly break a record?? Think your “skills” with a hunting rifle has any impact here?? COME PROVE IT!! 😎

The HS Team is challenging the community to a match!! This will replicate a regular high school match: 10 record shots in each position (prone, standing, kneeling) for a total max score of 300. Scores will directly compare to the team’s season, so you will be able to see where you’d rank on the team. 😏

Individuals are also encouraged to form teams of 5. Awards will be provided to the top 3 individuals and top 3 teams. But more importantly, you’ll get bragging rights!! 💪🏼

Equipment and ammo will be included in the $10 match fee. Team members will assist with equipment fitting and initial position setup. The rest is up to you!!

**An Everett Sportsman’s Club membership will be required for use of the facility. This will be good for all of 2026. All participants must present proof of membership or buy at match check in. Scan the QR code below to purchase online.**

**A safety briefing will be held prior to every relay. Participants must abide by all safety rules AT ALL TIMES. Individuals will be disqualified from the match and escorted out of the building for not following the provided guidelines.**
