Some of you ladies may be wondering if speed skating is a good sport for woman?
YES! It is a great sport/activity for woman of all ages.

The Cobras have had several females compete. Many winning and setting speed records.

Our training program is a great way to get, and stay in shape. At every practice all the athletes perform a rigorous leg and core workout. And yes…you’re gonna sweat!

It all starts at our meeting tonight.

So with our Team Info meeting coming up this Wednesday at 5:30 PM, you just might be wondering if there’s an age limit to participate in roller speed skating?

The answer is no! If you know how to skate, we can teach you how to go faaaaast!

We’ve had athletes who were 3 years old, as well as some in their 60’s.

So come to the meeting and meet our skate family!

Attention Skaters!!

For those interested in joining the Cobras Speed Team, and members returning, we will have our 26/27 season information meeting Wednesday, August 26th.

Why: Explain what we do. How we do it. When we do it. How much it cost for you to do it with us.

When: Wednesday, August 26th 5:30 PM.

Where: Evansville Skate World
1300 Fairfield Dr.
Evansville, IN. 47715

What will you need to bring: If you are a minor, you will need to bring your parent or legal guardian to this meeting. Skate World and the Cobras require all participants to sign a liability release and assumption of risk form.

FYI…The Cobras Speed Skating program is NOT a learn to skate program. Participants MUST be able to navigate around the skating rink on roller skates or inline skates without assistance and be able to perform a “cross over” while skating around the turns.

The Cobras take pride in our accomplishment. Our team has won many National and American Championships!

Our program helps athletes develop self discipline, strength, cardiovascular fitness, confidence, and pride.
