Memorial Day is a day of remembrance.

Not for those who served and returned, but for those who made the ultimate sacrifice and never came home.

Behind every name is a family, friends, unfinished plans, and a life given in service to something greater than self.

While this is a somber holiday, many of our fallen would want us to spend the day enjoying time with family and friends. It is why many served, and ultimately what some gave their lives to protect — the freedom to live, gather, laugh, and create memories with those we love.

So enjoy the day.

Spend time with your family.
Call someone.
Cook out.
Laugh.
Be present.

Live your life in a way that honors those who no longer have the opportunity to live theirs.

Remember them.
Honor them.
Never forget.

Murph 2026 🇺🇸

This is one of the most important days we have all year.
We come together as a community to honor, remember, and put in the work—side by side.

Review the schedule, plan your heat, and be ready to show up with purpose.

Doors open at 6:30am with a self-guided warm-up.
We’ll begin our opening announcement and dedication at 7:30am.
First heat starts at 8:10am following the unpartitioned Murph.
Heats will run every 10 minutes—plan ahead and get here early.

Bring your family, bring your friends.
Let’s make this a strong showing as we honor and remember.

Monday at Aberrant CrossFit, we honor Chief Warrant Officer 3 Andrew “Drew” Gunnison Cully**, 35, of Ozark, Missouri — and the crew he served alongside.

Drew died on September 17, 2025, when his MH-60M Black Hawk helicopter crashed during a training mission near Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

He served with C Company, 4th Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) — the legendary Night Stalkers.

Alongside Drew, we honor the crew members who lost their lives in the same incident — soldiers who trained, served, and stood ready together.

Drew’s life was defined by commitment, discipline, and leadership. From earning his commission in 2013, to becoming an instructor pilot and serving in one of the most elite aviation units in the world — he set the standard.

He is survived by his wife, Layne, and children, Lennox and Abbott.

Hero workouts are about the lives behind the names.

Tomorrow we honor Navy SEAL Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class Nathan Gage Ingram, 27.

Gage was lost at sea during a night mission off the coast of Somalia. While boarding a ship carrying illegal weapons, a teammate fell into the water. Without hesitation, Gage jumped in to save him. After a 10-day search, both SEALs were declared deceased on January 12, 2024.

This is who he was.
Selfless.
Courageous.
Committed to his brothers.

Gage graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Kinesiology before answering the call to serve. He became a Navy SEAL, completing BUD/S Class 346, and was assigned to SEAL Team THREE.

In his time of service, he embodied discipline, hard work, courage, and brotherhood.

He is survived by his wife, Jewel, and a family who carries his strength forward.

This workout bears his name — not just as a test of fitness, but as a reminder of sacrifice.

When it gets hard, remember:
He didn’t hesitate.
