LionHeart Academy Welcome to LionHeart Academy-where we Inspire Growth and Pursue Excellence through the sports of fencing and archery. However, an upgrade is coming soon.

Based in San Diego, we provide expert instruction in epee, foil, barebow, and Olympic recurve for youth & adults of all experience levels Fencing: extremely safe and dynamic, fencing teaches agility, hand-eye coordination, and tactical thinking. Our introductory program requires no initial investment in specialized equipment. State-of-the-art swords, masks and jackets are provided for beginners so

they can participate fully in an extremely safe environment. Students who have previously avoided traditional team sports find a healthy outlet in this ancient art. Our instructors are trained in both fencing instruction and class management. For the more developed fencer we provide private lessons and open bouting 6 days/week, along with equipment and armory services. LHFA is a USFA associated club with a history of success at both local and national tournaments. Archery: we operate East Counties only indoor archery range. Completely air conditioned, you and your kids can enjoy top level instruction and classes tailored to your skill level and age preferences. At this time we offer recurve and barebow archery only, no compound. Medieval Sword - LionHeart partners with Chivalry Today to bring you the best in anachronistic fencing technique, along with exploration into other martial elements of medieval times, including lowbow shooting. Both adult and younger classes available. Light Saber: Our newest addition, we are partnering with Nick Murico of Underground Lightsaber Fighters to bring future sword to this part of the galaxy. Summer Nationals was a big sucess!

Josh went up against some of the best fencer's in the country, and was able to finish 5th out of 342 fencers and also earned his A26! Nice work Josh and to all of our other fencers who competed this year!
