IT’S TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY!
MEET MICHELE and read her story BELOW! It’s a GOOD ONE 😭🧡

“I don’t recognize that person in the purple dress.

I was a shell of myself while I was taking care of my mom with dementia, homeschooling my kids, working from home, and putting myself at the very bottom of the priority list. I was on anti-anxiety medication and barely surviving.

Then I went to the doctor for a checkup and wasn’t given very good news about my future if I didn’t get control of my health.

A week before my 47th birthday, I walked into a gym for the very first time.

I had never worked out.
I had never belonged to a gym.
I had no idea what I was doing.

But I decided my health was worth fighting for.

Now, I don’t just feel better—I feel alive again.

What started as a way to take back my health became so much more. I found confidence. I found strength. And I found a community and fit family that I absolutely love.

The woman in the purple dress was surviving.

The woman today is thriving. ❤️

Saturday Spotlight: Barbara Kay 🌟

If you’ve spent any time around NLPF, chances are you’ve met Barbara Kay (or as many of us know her, BK… and to her grandbabies, Maw). ❤️

BK is one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet. She’s always encouraging others, showing up with a smile, and bringing positivity into every room she walks into.

One of our favorite things about having BK at the gym is seeing the next generation watching her lead by example. Her grandkids love being part of the action, and it’s a reminder that fitness is about so much more than a workout.

It’s about family.
It’s about community.
It’s about showing those who look up to us what consistency, strength, and perseverance look like.

We’re thankful to have BK and her family as part of the NLPF family. 🧡
