Tomorrow (Sunday, Oct 20th) is the cutoff for the awesome, custom made, fully sublimated shirts for the Blood Rock Races. Six weeks are required to produce these shirts. They will be long sleeve and similar to the Hotter 'N Hell and Ridge to Blazing Ridge Shirts. The photo below is of the 2024 Southern States 200 shirts.
Standard race shirts will be available until Nov 17th.

Joe Woodworth has totally outdone himself. These are the "REAL" Ridge to Blazing Ridge Race Shirts.

And, we are going to have finisher medals for R2BR. They will be similar to the Hotter 'N Hell finisher buckles. They were awesome! Check out the design below.

I have finally worked out a new Blood Rock 25K Course using the new property added to Oak Mountain State Park. The race is going to be AWESOME! The course will cover a large chunk of the Belcher Tract including Summit Lake (some call it Catfish lake) and Demopolis Lake. Check it out! Elevation gain isn't too bad either. Yes, it's 1.77K too long but it's worth it! Besides, we are not charging extra for the extra mile.

We don't want anyone to miss anything.
Announcing the Southern States 100 Mile Endurance Trail Race. Yes, you read that correctly! We are adding a 100-mile distance!

Would you like to experience the excitement of running a point-to-point 200-mile race without actually having to run 200 miles? Do you want to practice on the Southern States 200 course to run it one day? This is your chance. We are adding a 100-mile option to the SS200 for 2025.

March 20, 2025 12 p.m. start time!

The Southern States 100 will start at the midpoint of the Southern States 20 at the Cave Spring Trailhead, mile 99.64 of the 200-mile run. The 100 will finish on top of Mt. Cheaha along with the 200-mile finishers.

The cutoff for the 100 will be very generous - 44 hours to finish. We will have a special buckle for those that finish under 24 hours. As with the 200, we will provide transportation from the finish at Cheaha State Park to the Start in Cave Spring for those not using a crew. Of course, your crew is welcome to deliver you to the start.

Registration opens June 19th. 100-mile registration is limited so don’t wait. All the race details are on the website.
