The Wednesday Night Spring League has concluded. Congratulations to our high over all winner, Frank Divilio! Second place went to Jeff Cherry and Bill Heller took third. We will take a few weeks off to regroup, and set the next league. We will most likely start on Wednesday June 24th and run for 10 weeks with only counting your top 8 scores. Let the champion, Frank Divilio know if you’re interested in joining the next go round.

Congratulations to the EHS Clay Target Team team on a successful season and we wish them well as they head into the state competition in Sudlersville. We had a friendly competition with some board members and high school students. Congrats to Jeff Cherry on taking high overall for TRGC and Matthew Brunner for the students.

We have one week left of the Wednesday Night League and next week will be Five Stand. Tonight’s discipline was two rounds of s***t. Congratulations to new league member Alan Whiting on first place this week. Jeff Cherry was right behind in second place with Frank Divilio in third place.

The Easton High School Clay Target Team is really doing well this season. Here is an opportunity for us to support their school and members Jeff Cherry and Sherry Spurry with raising funds for the school system. Stop by the Lobby Bar at the Avalon tonight and meet with the Talbot County Education Foundation.

The rain held off, but boy did the wind blow. This week’s competition was s***t doubles. Congratulations to Jeff Cherry taking first place. Bill Heller took second, and Jim Robertson took third. We had two new members join us, a father and son pair - Henner and Hayden Gibbons-Neff.

We need some help loading the houses this Sunday, May 3rd at 10:30. Many hands make for quick work. Fields will be closed until we are finished.

Tonight’s competition was the pieces game. One point for breaking the s***t and two more points if you break a piece. Congratulations to Bill Heller on taking first place, Frank Divilio moved up to second place finally, and Jim Robertson took third. There is just over a month left and room for a few more.
