Bio:
I have a B.S in exercise science from Towson University. I also obtained an Associates of Applied Science in Physical Therapy Chesapeake/Anne Arundel Community College. I have seventeen years of experience as a personal trainer and coach in the health,wellness, fitness, and sports industry setting. My specialties are special populations, post rehab training, pre operative strength exercise, pre and post sports conditioning, high impact conditioning, boot camps/group fitness, and weight loss. I grew up playing baseball, basketball, and soccer. I played soccer, basketball and ran track at Bishop Ireton Highschool my Freshmen and Sophomore year before transferring to DeMatha for Junior and Senior year. I played college basketball for College of Southern MD. I helped run a pre and post conditioning program for the College of Southern MD Basketball team for an Internship at Towson University in 2005. I also volunteered as an Assistant Coach at Northern Virginia Community College. In 2006, I coached a year at Easton High school as the JV girls basketball coach. I also coached soccer at Saints Peter and Paul for a year. I was an avid swimmer since the age of four. At 16 I became a swimmer/coach for my summer swim team at Surratts Swim Club in Prince Georges County. I also was the head swim coach for Marlton Swim Club in Upper Marlboro, MD for three summers. I swam for DeMatha Catholic and coached a Masters Swim Program for both the Easton, MD YMCA and the South Bay YMCA in San Diego CA. I love watching and playing sports. I am both a DC and MD sports fan. I enjoy the outdoors and listening to local music artists. I love long walks to clear my head and collect new thoughts. I enjoy working out for stress relief, increased muscle tone and increased flexibility. I enjoy being around my friends and family when I have time.
