Coach Ethan came into coaching because he knew he had something meaningful to give โ a love of teaching, a passion for sharing knowledge, and an enthusiasm that naturally brings energy into every room he walks into. Three years into CrossFit and now coaching solo classes for over a year, Ethan has quickly built a reputation for bringing positivity, encouragement, and relentless support to every athlete he coaches.
Outside of the gym, Ethan races bikes competitively for a team out of Virginia, so he understands firsthand what it means to trust the process, stay disciplined, and commit to long-term growth. That same mindset carries directly into his coaching.
What Ethan loves most about coaching is witnessing the โaha!โ moment โ that instant when a movement finally clicks and an athlete realizes theyโre capable of something they once struggled with. For Ethan, those breakthrough moments are what coaching is all about. His goal is simple: make sure every athlete who walks through the doors leaves knowing the hour they spent in class was the best hour of their day.
Ethanโs coaching style is enthusiastic, relentless, and caring. He believes consistency is king and that success comes from showing up, trusting the process, putting in the work, and having fun along the way. Whether heโs helping an athlete improve a skill, build confidence, or simply push through a tough workout, Ethan brings authentic energy and encouragement to every class he leads.
His favorite training days involve heavy lifting and high-skill gymnastics movements โ the kinds of workouts that challenge both the body and the mind.
Outside the gym, Ethan enjoys training with his son Miles, spending time with his daughter Nadia, and competing in bike races throughout the region. As for his workout hype music? It depends on the day โ dance, rap, K-pop, metal, countryโฆ whateverโs hitting at the moment ๐ก๏ธ
