Well friends, just a quick little update on a few things Sucker Springs! Travis Bellman Home & Trail has started construction on a new 3+ mile loop called Scrape Line!!! The hope is that this trail will be completed and open this fall. In the meantime, please consider it closed.

In an effort to provide the Eagle River, Conover, Land O' Lakes and Phelps residents and visitors with an excellent mountain bike specific trail system, we are currently in the midst of a $20,000 matching pledge fund drive until October 1. After receipt of a $500 donation today, we are at about $4,500 of our goal! We are making good, steady progress on that front! And finally, LAMBO volunteers did some touching up to the entire system over the last few days, so it's riding great! Get out there and enjoy it!

My beloved Highlands in Copper Harbor... pic is for attention! LAMBO has two trail projects under construction at the moment. One at Musky Mountain, and the other at Sucker Springs. The new trail at Musky Mountain , The Rassier, will occasionally be open for out and backs, but take notice!!!! As of today, it is CLOSED due to overly dry conditions that are creating dry, loose conditions, that make the new trail prone to damage. The new trail at Sucker Springs, Scrape Line, will remain closed until it's completion later this fall. PLEASE respect these closures as these trails cost a lot of money and time to get built, and we want to see them get done right!

Thursday night ride this week is at the og Raven! Come on out and ride some tech and old school mtb riding. If your not a fan of tech there's some ski trails and even a blacktop trail you can take a cruiwe on. Rollout at 6:00 starting from the clear lake picnic area off of J by the pavilion.

More trails is our mission! It's pretty simple, your time or money gets them on the ground!!

Charlie Tuna is liking some of the new hand built at Musky! The new machine build is also coming along nicely, and hopefully if everthing goes as planned we will be meeting each other at a new hub in September. In the mean time we have exhausted our funds for this years build and if we want to keep going have to raise some more for the additional 4 miles we have left! So if you can, help us out so we can continue to build some fresh trail. We can also use help hand building if you would like to volunteer some time.

All things Sucker Springs!!! Come join us tonight! The trail builder is starting this week on our newest 3+ mile loop ! We are chipping away at our $20,000 goal for expansion at the system, thanks to our generous matching donors! We've raised approximately $2,000 in new donations since we started, so there's plenty of time for you to help us out and double the value of your gift! Lambo Riders is a registered 501 (c)(3), so there's that too! Also, this Saturday at 8 am, there will be a work session of 2-3 hours focused on clearing corridor for new trail! Glove and small chainsaws and a "git r dun" attitude is all that is needed! Cya tonight!

Tonights ride is back at Sucker Springs. I would say this system is the areas best spot to try if your a beginning rider. C'mon out ride and hangout afterwards. 6:00 rollout.
