We have some summer camp lost and found items. If you recognize any of these items, please let us know and we will set them aside to be picked up. All lost and found camp items will be donated on Sept. 4th if they have not been claimed!

Our 9 weeks of summer camp went by so fast... but you know what they say: time flies when you're having fun!! BIG thanks to the DPR Rec Squad for all of their hard work and dedication to making our summer camps fun, safe, and memorable for our campers and families. We loved seeing so many familiar faces back this summer and meeting all of our new campers, too! Thanks for being part of summer camp with DPR! Wishing everyone a great school year, and we look forward to seeing you in upcoming programs and at our community events!

We are so excited for Downtown Durham Day tomorrow evening!

Join us on Main Street from 6:00–8:30 p.m. for a community celebration of Durham! Enjoy games, activities, information booths, live music, an ice cream eating contest, and so much more. All are welcome to this fun, family-friendly community event! Participation is FREE!

The Annual Ice Cream Eating Contest begins at 7:30 p.m. on Main Street in front of the band. Pre-registration is required (there is no cost to participate). Please visit the Parks & Recreation table to register for your age group. Space is limited, so be sure to register early if you'd like to participate!

A big thank you to all of the businesses, organizations, committees, Town departments, and student groups that are participating in Downtown Durham Day tomorrow! Special thanks to the Durham Great Bay Rotary Club for sponsoring the live music and to Campus Creamery for sponsoring the Ice Cream Eating Contest!

Twenty-One Senses will also be part of the event, offering a quiet, sensory-friendly space on Jenkins Court.
