⚠️ We want your feedback! We’re trying something new at Durango Parks and Recreation by offering specialty programs for tweens and teens, like Nail Tech and Fashion and Photography. We want to know what your tweens/teens are interested in!

We recently offered a jewelry-making class that didn’t receive any registrations and was canceled, so we’re looking for ways to make sure the programs we offer are ones you actually want to attend. These programs can’t continue without community interest and participation.

💅 If Nail Tech sounds fun to you, sign up and give it a try! Your registration helps us know what types of programs to grow and offer in the future.

We’re proud to support the Cristian Korte Memorial Swim Fund, helping provide funding to families throughout our region so more local youth can access swimming lessons and build confidence in the water.

Through the program, local qualifying youth are able to take swimming lessons at the Durango Community Recreation Center, Cortez Recreation Center, Ignacio Recreation Center, Farmington Recreation Center or the Bloomfield Recreation Center.
