Seeking instant gratification will keep you stuck at the bottom, often times it keeps people from taking the small steps that will actually lead them to success.

If you want to lose 10-20+ lbs it’s not going to happen overnight just because you did some cardio, lifted weights, and had chicken & broccoli for dinner 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you want to go from barley touching the rim to being able dunk, you can’t do one workout and expect to be windmill dunking the next day.

You have to learn to stack the small wins together consistently every single day, and then the results will come 💯

One of my favorite play's.. 👀⠀

Look closer as I approach the last defender and you'll notice how I lower my shoulder, dribble low, and slightly bump into the defender using my lower body strength to knock him off balance and draw the foul.⠀⠀

Being able to finish through contact is one of the many benefits of Strength Training for Basketball. 🏋🏽⠀

One advantage of having Elite Speed/Athleticism is being able to take advantage of defenses not being back/set before you're in scoring range🏀⠀

⚠On this play Westbrook brings the ball up with his outside hand and slightly changes speed as he aproches the 3pt line and defender, as if he's preparing to pull up from deep! Most players will also perform a transition pull-up headfake in this situation⚠⠀

Even though Westbrook isn't the highest percentage 3pt shooter Russell decides to gamble for a steal, doesn't get it, and leaves Westbrook with a wide open lane for an easy dunk 👀⠀

• ■This should be one of your go-to moves if you're a player that considers yourself a 1-man Fast break or as a player that can hit a transition 3■ • ⠀

🔥ShamGod Cross🔥⠀

Last year this became one one my goto moves.⠀

•It's basically a counter move you can use if you don't fake the defender with a normal ShamGod• ⠀

⚠ I like to start my ShamGod with a slight In&Out dribble, then once i sn**ch the ball back with my opposite hand, I'll do a hard crossover and either pull up for a shot, or keep my dribble going ⚠⠀

I believe I got this move from Kyrie, he's been know for doing different variations of the ShamGod. ⠀

If you want to be an efficient scorer when attacking the rim then you're going to need to develop a floater. ⠀

On this play uses the screen and drives into the lane.⠀

Waiting for him infront of the rim is Anthony Davis.⠀
One of the best shot blockers in the League. ⠀

If he's looking to score, D-Rose now has the options of either challenging AD by trying to create contact with him before he can try to block the shot, trying to use the rim to prevent AD from blocking the shot by doing a reverse layup, a jump shot that would take more time to shoot, or by doing a shot he's mastered over the course of his basketball career, the Floater. ⠀

As you can see he chooses a Floater, but he takes one extra hard dribble to the left before he shoots causing the defender to run into his back resulting in a 3 point play. ⠀

By using the floater he gets his shot off fast and high enough to where AD has no chance of blocking it. ⠀
