Last night we made a surprise trip over the bridge to race at the Gondik Law Speedway to hang out with After Hours Design owner & Midwest Modified Driver Adam Shinn, and the rest of our friends within the racing community!

With only 5 cars entered all we wanted to do was have a little fun. Call it an encore for our regular racing season! 😎

Started 5th in the heat but was able to make the bottom groove work on the start and slide into a 2nd place finish. Grabbed from the draw bucket and picked up the pole position for the 2nd week in a row!

Feature race started and took the lead coming out of the first corner. Was able to hold onto the lead for the opening 4 laps, then proceeded to race side by side with our 2026 Gondik Law Speedway & Wisconsin State Champion Nikota Larson for 2 1/2 laps before our car got progressively tighter as the race came to a close, hurting our overall speed. Raced hard and clean to get back to 2nd but crossed the line in 3rd. Great and fair racing that put on a show for the fans! That’s what it’s about. 💪

Not sure what’s next with the hornet program, 1 race left in the go karts to take home a Championship there! 🏆

Absolutely blessed to have had the weekend we just had with the amount of support that showed up! Might take the cake for the most memorable weekend of the summer! 🙏😇

Gondik Law Speedway 8/21
Heat Race: 1st 👉 1ST! 🥇
Feature Race: 1st 👉 3rd 🥉

Made the trip over the Oliver bridge for the 8th annual Su***de Prevention and Meet The Drivers Night for the first time this year. It was an amazing turnout of drivers, fans, and family members that made the long night worth it. Shoutout to Westview Services for attending and supporting LFR! We made a last lap pass to win our heat race and redraw the pole for the feature but we couldn’t hold off hotshot Nikota Larson on the start and had to settle into 3rd. Then after a few laps, we ran over a piece of debris laying on the racetrack that knocked our alignment out by 2 inches! Nursed it home to a podium finish despite the issues! 💪 #988

BRMP Kart Track 8/22
Heat Race: 5th 👉 2nd 🥈
Feature Race: 3rd 👉 5th

1 more race left in the karting season and we’re still in the battle for the championship! We started the feature strong and held our own in the top 3 before having an issue with a bumper bar that caused us to lose valuable track position. Restarting 11th with 6 laps to go, it was a tall task to salvage any points before the checkered flag. Kyle drove up to 5th and was faster than the 3rd and 4th place drivers but with it being a one lane track and those drivers playing defense, we crossed the line 5th. Extremely frustrating losing the track position but we’ll put our head down and focus on the last race of the year, September 12th!

Proctor KME Speedway 8/23
Heat Race: 3rd 👉 2nd 🥈
Feature Race: 2nd 👉 1ST! 🥇

Where we lacked in race cars, we made up for in fans! Alexis’ friends at Caravel Austim Health, our family members and close friends were the driving force to yet another WIN! It was a beautiful night to be at the racetrack and once the feature started Kyle took off on the high side and never looked back! Congratulations to Nick Ruzich on winning the track championship 🏆 Consistency is the name of the game and you guys are the epitome of that. Grateful to have gone to battle this year at Proctor with you and any other driver who raced this year! 😎 3 in a Row!!!

This past weekend was one that will be remembered as a career highlight for years to come! Absolutely blown away with the results and are grateful to have the support from everyone as we carry this momentum into the final points race this Sunday! 🙏

BRMP Kart Track 8/15:
Heat Race: 3rd 👉 3rd 🥉
Feature: 6th 👉 4th

Finally picked back up with the go kart program and continued the battle for the track championship. We got a good start by settling into 3rd and made a move for 2nd before a caution came out. Unfortunately on the following restart, our kart's performance was stunted by oil drenching the air filter and we had to limp it home the last 1/2 of the race. Managed to sneak away with a 4th place and for the first time EVER in our career, with the Points Lead!! 🎉 2 races left to finish the deal! 🏆

Proctor KME Speedway 8/16
Heat Race: 2nd 👉 1st! 🥇
Feature: 7th 👉 1ST! 🥇🥇

WOW. Definitely had to earn that win by getting to the lead and holding off some fast cars that were breathing down our neck! The momentum from last week's win carried over into last night and now we guess the floodgates are open to victory lane. Still can't believe how much better the car is with the new frame and front end components. Kicking ourselves for not doing it before the season started! Shout-out to the 2x car for keeping me honest and racing clean throughout the battle for the win. It is looking like we'll finish up with a 2nd place points finish this year, unless a miracle happens. 🏁

Sticking with the subject of winning... About a month ago was our biggest race of the year with it being the annual Hornet Nationals at the Proctor KME Speedway. Although we didn't win the race, we did make it to victory lane by winning the Hard Charger Award and had a chance to talk with Hunter about how we managed to finish on the podium and thank our sponsors to everyone in the stands and watching on Dirt Race Central!
