Two more Saints school records were improved upon this afternoon down in La Crosse.

Noah Kubicek (Sr./Owatonna) finished his indoor career with a heat win in the 400m dash. He broke the tape in a new record time of 48.88 seconds. Kubicek placed second overall in the meet.

Spencer Strohm (Fr./Barnum) improved his school record twice on Saturday. In the preliminary heat of the 60m hurdles, Strohm advanced to the final with a time of 8.35 seconds. Strohm returned in the final to move up to a third place finish in a new school record time of 8.30 seconds.

Incredible racing, Lars!

Saints alum, Lars Dewall ‘24 qualified for the Olympic Marathon Trials today at the California International Marathon which served as the USATF Marathon National Championship for 2025. His average mile pace was 5:07 finishing in 2:14:15. That would convert to a 23:02 8k. He was a DIII All-American in 25:10 and an 8k PR of 24:34.

He continues to improve after college, building his own training approach, using what he learned about himself as a Saints skier and runner. It was his second marathon, and dropped over 4 minutes from his inaugural marathon at Grandmas in June.
