The Delaware Dawgs organization continues to make major moves as General Manager & Head Coach “Mac” Smith, alongside Lady Dawgs Head Coach and Delaware Dawgs Assistant Coach Dre, have secured another game-changing addition to the Lady Dawgs franchise.

OFFICIALLY SIGNED: Franchise player. Tiffany Davis.

A former standout at the University of South Carolina from 2012–2017, Tiffany Davis was a key member of the historic 2016–2017 NCAA National Championship team led by legendary coach Dawn Staley. Known for her toughness, leadership, and resilience through adversity, Tiffany earned the honor of team captain during South Carolina’s championship season, leaving a lasting impact on one of the most successful eras in women’s college basketball.
Basketball excellence runs deep in her bloodline as she is also the daughter of former NBA veteran Emanual Davis, who had a six-year NBA career with the Houston Rockets, Seattle SuperSonics, and Atlanta Hawks.
Off the court, Tiffany has continued to build an impressive legacy. She graduated from South Carolina with a dual degree in Psychology and Retail Management and has transitioned into coaching, earning her appointment as Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Abington Friends School in Pennsylvania beginning in 2025.
This exclusive signing represents another major step forward for the Lady Dawgs as the organization continues building a culture centered around leadership, championship experience, and player development.
Please join us in welcoming Tiffany Davis to the Lady Dawgs Basketball family.
The countdown is officially on — the Lady Dawgs tip off their inaugural WABA season in July 2026.

The Delaware Dawgs are making it loud and clear—this isn’t just another season, it’s a mission.

General Manager “Mac” Smith and Owner Shaq Mack have struck again in free agency, adding a major piece to what’s shaping up to be a championship-caliber roster for the upcoming ABA season.

SIGNED: Deion Evans PF/C

Standing at 6’8, Evans brings size, efficiency, and proven production to the Dawgs. A product of Imhotep Institute Charter in Philadelphia, PA, he continued his journey through Baltimore City Community College before elevating his game at Campbellsville University, where he shot an impressive 49.3% from the field.

His college career showed steady growth and dominance:

As a freshman, Evans made his presence known in 21 games, averaging 6.3 points and 4.1 rebounds.
By his sophomore campaign, he stepped into a larger role—appearing in 29 games with 14 starts, averaging 11 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
He recorded five 20-point performances while shooting 51.2% from the floor, proving his ability to take over games efficiently.

Evans didn’t stop there.

During his time with the MadTown Kodiak in the Official Basketball Association (OBA) minor basketball league, he delivered a historic performance—dropping 57 points in a single game, setting a career, franchise, and league record. That’s not just scoring—that’s dominance.

This signing sends a message across the league: the Dawgs are building something serious.

A versatile forward with the ability to impact both ends of the floor, Deion Evans adds firepower, depth, and a winning mentality to the roster.

Delaware, get ready. The Dawgs just got stronger.

🚨 OFFICIAL SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

The Delaware Dawgs continue to set the tone for the 2026–2027 ABA season, as General Manager and Head Coach Mac Smith returns to the table with purpose, precision, and a clear commitment to building a championship-caliber roster.

We are proud to officially announce the signing of Alfonso “Fonz” Smith Jr., a dynamic 6’6” forward whose journey reflects resilience, growth, and a true winning pedigree.

📍 Position: Forward
📏 Height: 6’6”
🏫 High School: Vineland High School
🎓 College: RCSJ Cumberland & Neumann University
🏙️ Hometown: Vineland

A proven competitor with championship experience, Fonz was part of the Lakeland Royals during their inaugural 2022 season, helping secure an FBA championship before the organization transitioned into the ABA as the Polk County Royals. That championship mentality now arrives in the Dawg House.

Known for his versatility, Fonz can stretch the floor, dominate inside the paint, and knock down perimeter shots with confidence. His ability to impact the game on both ends of the court makes him the definition of a modern forward — skilled, adaptable, physical, and relentless.

This signing is more than adding talent to the roster — it’s another powerful statement from the Delaware Dawgs organization. The mission remains clear: build a culture rooted in toughness, discipline, brotherhood, and the pursuit of greatness.

The front office continues to make major moves in the Dawg House as General Manager and Head Coach “Mac” Smith works alongside ownership to build a championship culture in Delaware for the upcoming ABA season.

🚨 OFFICIALLY SIGNED 🚨
Shawn “Biz” Green
📍 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
📏 6’4 Forward
🎓 Penn State Berks
🏀 Former ABA Philly Cannons standout
🎓 Germantown High School (Philadelphia, PA)
#24

A proven scorer and relentless competitor, Shawn Green made his mark at Penn State Berks as a two-year starter for the Nittany Lions, finishing third in program history in 3-pointers made while averaging an impressive 19.0 points per game over the final seven games of the season.

Green also became a key piece for the former ABA organization Philly Cannons, where he earned recognition as one of the team’s top offensive weapons while consistently making his presence felt on the defensive end.

After receiving multiple overseas opportunities, Shawn has chosen to bring his game, leadership, and winning mentality to Delaware for the 2026 ABA season this October. His versatility, toughness, and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor make this a major signing for the Delaware Dawgs as the organization continues preparing for a statement season.

The Delaware Dawgs are making another major offseason statement from the front office.

Owner Shaq Mack and General Manager/Head Coach “Mac” Smith have officially signed Brandon Ash to a three-year max deal ahead of the 2026–2027 ABA season. A highly versatile two-way big, Ash brings elite defensive instincts, guard-like fluidity, and a rapidly evolving offensive game. Coach “Mac” calls him a true “unicorn” — a player capable of guarding all five positions while serving as a playmaking hub on offense.

Ash began to find his identity at William Penn High School in New Castle, Delaware, where his confidence and skill surged during his junior year as he set out to make his mark in a new state. He carried that determination through graduation and into Hillsborough Community College. Even when his first year didn’t unfold as planned, Ash never wavered — staying locked in on his growth and trusting that his moment was coming.

Now, that moment has arrived.

Welcome to Dawg Pound Nation, Brandon Ash.
