We’re getting ready to kick off our 20th season at Dorr Dance Academy. Classes begin September 8, and there’s still time to register.
Stop by during our registration hours next week to register, ask questions, or get your dancer fitted for shoes. If you can’t make it during these hours, give us a call or email and we’ll be happy to help.

Competition dancers, SAVE THE DATES!

NEW this season, Miss Helen will be offering a monthly drop-in Technique Class for DDA Competition Team dancers (Junior level & up).
These instructor-led classes will focus on targeted stretching, strength, and in-depth technique development. Each lesson is planned by DDA staff based on areas of focus we've identified in class, with the goal of helping dancers build strong, consistent technique that supports all styles of dance.

A few important details:

Drop-in format! Attend as many or as few classes as you'd like.

$10 per class, cash only, NO PAYMENTS FROM DAZZLE OR STUDIO ACCOUNTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

No pre-registration. Registration begins 15 minutes before class.

Open to DDA Competition Team dancers (Junior level & up).

Jazz shoes, ballet shoes, or half soles are required. No socks, tap shoes, or hip hop shoes.

This is an instructor-led class, not open studio time. There will be no tumbling, acro, or solo work during these sessions.

We look forward to offering another opportunity for our dancers to continue building strong technical foundations throughout the season.

Never danced before? No problem! It's never too late to take a chance on yourself.

Dance class is a place to learn, grow, and challenge yourself. Dorr Dance Academy offers recreational classes that meet you at your ability level and help push you to advance it. Plus, you might even meet a few new friends!

Registration is open for the fall season, which runs from Sept 8th until May 26th. Get registered soon, as classes fill quickly!

Register by visiting dorrdanceacademy.com and creating an account. Then, send an email to [email protected] indicating which class you would like to enroll your dancer in. Both steps are necessary- you cannot directly enroll into the class without studio assistance.

Back-to-school is quickly approaching for many. However, this time of year means that our littlest ones may be experiencing new faces and places in our community for the very first time. Dorr Dance Academy is excited to offer classes for ages 3-4 and 4-5 as an opportunity for young dancers to develop and strengthen social skills, coordination, and confidence.
