The SBRA holds open 4D barrel races in southwest Kansas. The Southwest Barrel Racing Association is a barrel racing organization located in western Kansas.

We hold jackpots within a 150-mile radius of Garden City, Kan. We have open 4D jackpots along with youth and rookie horse classes.

Jackpot reminder: Saturday Oct 10, 10:30 or shortly after. This jackpot is in conjunction with our year end awards, general membership meeting/election of officers and meal. Please review the rule change proposals and think about them. We will need to move the meeting along as fast a possible, so we can get ready for the jackpot. The jackpot is open to anyone, it will be our first race of the new year. Memberships must be purchased in advance for points to count for next years awards. We will set up awards 8-9, meeting at 9-10, 10:30 jackpot, meal and awards to follow. A seasoned meat sandwich is being provided by Betty Dew, Jolene Baker is providing drinks & tableware. Members are asked to bring a side dish, but not required. Everyone is welcome to join us for the meal. Everyone can also register for doorprizes. Also, please remember to vote for someone to win our sportsman award.
