Update- doing very well, excited and eager for post op apt tomorrow.

Balancing muscle (mainly quad) activation, swelling, and pain management very carefully. If all goes well I’ll shoot a video of current rehab I’m allowed to do.

Love all the well wishes and people reaching out, thank you all! Good to see friends swing by and check on me to keep me sane as well. This weather is helping to, being able to open the windows and feel less cooped up!

Hope to have an idea on a timeframe tomorrow, then im off to race to 100% healthy, and hockey ready!

Now the fun part begins! Physical therapy starts today at 10am, just 15 hours post surgery. Will see what they say, and go from there.
I am lucky to have a great team of doctors from Dr. Stull leading off to Dr. Jeffers batting clean up. Now to get rolling on physical therapy- hopefully get one of the best in the biz to get this puppy back to 100% like it’s December 2021 again!

Thankful for my Ice machine. If you have never used one, I highly recommend it for both Injury recovery and maintenance!

Make sure y’all check on Madeline, as I know will likely driver her nuts with my stubborn/hardheaded self.

Day 1-
Weight- 255 lbs
Partial weight bearing with crutches
Pain- 7 out of 10 (with drugs)
