Today marks five years since we first started Forza Girls Academy. 🩵
Looking back, it’s hard to believe how much we’ve grown, evolved, and learned while staying true to the mission that started it all: empowering girls through soccer.
Forza began during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. In many ways, and like it has throughout my life, the soccer field was where I found a sense of normalcy, purpose, and peace when I needed it most. What started as something I poured myself into because it was the one place I felt okay became something much bigger than I ever imagined.
Building a company while working full-time has challenged me. There have been long days, sacrifices, and plenty of moments that required me to dig a little deeper. But there has also been so much joy and fulfillment in watching this vision come to life and seeing the impact we can have on the next generation of girls.
Five years in, I’m incredibly proud of what Forza has become, grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey, and more committed than ever to the mission that brought us here.
Here’s to five years of growth, resilience, community, and empowering girls to believe in themselves — on and off the field. And here’s to everything still ahead. ⚽️
