Life Science Field Training Institute

Where: Pinelands Alliance, Pinelands Adventures, Pine Tree Center (all based in 08088 zip code)

A multi-day field science experience for educators to strengthen field-based investigations in their teaching and improve student performance.

We are proud to offer this annual training opportunity to educators. This year’s program takes place at the Pinelands Alliance, Pine Tree Center and Pinelands Adventures.

Space is limited. Cost to participate is $50.

We have a beginner kayaking lesson coming up next Saturday, and it’s perfect if you’ve ever wanted to try but didn’t know where to start.

This isn’t intense or intimidating. It’s a small, relaxed group where we walk you through everything step-by-step so you feel comfortable and confident on the water.

You’ll learn:
• Basic paddling skills
• How to steer and control your kayak
• Tips to feel steady and relaxed out there

It’s a really fun way to spend a morning outside, especially if you’re looking to try something new! 🌿
