1ST SESSION COMPLETED AT AVILA COMBAT LABS IL ✅

10/26/2026

Dilynn Albrecht is the definition of trusting the process.

I couldn’t be more proud of how she wrestled this weekend, but even more so, how she continues to grow and reach new levels over time.

There have been times when we’ve fallen flat on our faces in competition, losing matches we had no business losing. Times when the results didn’t reflect the work being put in. And when she had every reason to point fingers, make excuses, or question the process, she chose to take it on the chin, show up the next day, and get right back to work.

That kind of commitment says a lot about a person. It’s easy to believe in something when everything is going your way. It takes a different kind of character to stay the course when things aren’t going as planned.

Although she drives me absolutely nuts, and some days I wish she’d jump into MMA sparring for a round or two 😂, we’ve continued to grow and reach new levels together.

This girl practically lives in the Lab. She doesn’t make much noise about the work she puts in, but no stone goes unturned. She shows up, puts her head down, and does the work. Day after day.

5th place at Super 32. All-American.

Congratulations to our very own Dilynn Albrecht! Thank you for your loyalty, your commitment, and for continuing to believe in me, the system, and the process, even when it would have been easier to question it all.

There’s something special about watching the work finally speak for itself.

And the best part? We’re just getting started.
