Keeping adult hockey affordable 💰🏒

When the Waukesha County Hockey League began in 2004, the league featured just 10 teams across two divisions. More than two decades later, the WCHL has grown to 36 teams across four divisions, with more than 750 players participating each fall and winter.

Through all that growth, one thing has remained important: providing a quality adult hockey experience at an affordable price. We're proud to offer one of the best values in adult hockey in the area, without sacrificing the experience on or off the ice.

23 seasons later, we're proud of how far the WCHL has come, and even more excited about where it's headed. 🏒

There’s nothing quite like a fresh sheet of ice! ✨❄️

Since the beginning of the month, our crew has been hard at work giving the ice a complete refresh! Every few years, we take the ice down to a thin layer, carefully repaint the bright white base, hockey lines, circles and logos, and then slowly build it back up to full thickness.

It’s a process that takes time, precision, and plenty of layers, but the end result is worth it: a crisp, bright sheet ready for another season of skaters, teams, and fans. ⛸️💙

Next time you visit, you’ll be skating on a freshly painted sheet of ice! ❄️

WCHL Referees Wanted! 🏒

The Waukesha County Hockey League (WCHL) is looking to add USA Hockey-certified officials for the upcoming season!

With 36 teams across four divisions, the WCHL offers plenty of opportunities to get on the ice, earn extra income, and officiate adult hockey throughout the season. Each WCHL game utilizes two USA Hockey-certified referees, and officials must have a current USA Hockey certification to work league games.
