Good morning everyone - Race Round up 12! Another Top Ten!

Another good night at the track! After the rainout last week, Vin kept his head down and kept up his hustle.

Back on the track, his practice times were where they needed to be, so he was good and comfortable. A couple tweaks here and there and he lands in the 10th spot after qualifying. A relatively clean race without much drama, he does a good job avoiding some early contact, and also avoided a late spin. All in all he comes home no worse for wear in 10th. So a neutral night but a good one - back to back top tens!

With Labor Day weekend coming up we are taking a week off. As always we will regroup, refocus and we will see you all on the 11th.

Boom! What a difference a week makes! Top Ten!

Good morning everyone - Race Round up 11!

After technical issues cancelled last week’s race, Vin remained undeterred - and proved it last night. He absolutely crushed it - running his best race this season. Continuing to tweak and adjust, along with some new rubber, Vin showed he was super comfortable in the car during practice. His times were fast, consistently among his fastest times to date. In qualifying, he lands 11th on the inside.

The weather threw us a curveball and we had some slight sprinkles come thru prior to the features starting, so the order of divisions was realigned and the Legends were the second feature race as opposed to being the last of the night. No worries tho, the track was ready and there were no delays.

Thirty laps last night for the Everett’s Triple Crown Championship, he drove hard but moved to the outside, sliding back a couple spots. He stayed hard on his line and after avoiding a couple cautions we see him sneak inside the top ten sitting in the ninth spot. From there he kept his line, stayed hard on it and moved into the eight spot. Running hard and clean for most of the remaining laps, things got interesting with three to go. A tight battle between the 7, 8, and 9th spots, he slides to ninth for a lap, making a move to the outside and brings it home in 8th at the line! He drove the heck out of the car bringing home his first top ten finish of the season!

As always a huge shout out to our pit crew who always gets it done and everyone who came out to support Vin!

We regroup, refocus and get ready for next week!

Booo!

Unfortunately, nothing to report today! Due to a technical issue resulting in lighting loss in turns 1 & 2, the Legends race was cancelled last night. Tough break for everyone.

Still - Vin looked great in practice after a week off and some R&R - even with all the heat.
