Pamela Trokanski Dance Workshop The PTDW offers technical training in a wide variety of dance styles, for both the professionally bound and avocational dancer.

We believe in quality training, regardless of the dancer's age or ultimate goal. To this end, we offer a wide range of programs, taught by a faculty comprised of teachers who possess a wealth of professional experience in teaching, performance, and choreography. We also believe in a "multi-lingual " approach to training, and to this end, you will find classes in Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Jazz,

Hip Hop, Dance Team, Earth Rhythms, Belly Dance, and much more...

In addition to our curriculum of multiple dance forms that focus on technical training for both the professionally bound as well as the avocational dancer, we also focus on aspects of movement that utilize dance as one important component of a "wellness lifestyle." To this end we have classes in Zumba, Conditioning, Dance for Parkinson's (in affiliation with the Mark Morris Dance Group, and in partnership with the Robert & Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts, UC Davis), in addition to classes such as Movement as Metaphor, which uses movement as a tool for personal exploration. We believe in dance as an integral part of life, and invite you to share this with us.

As many of you know, the Dance Workshop is the home of the Pamela Trokanski Dance Theatre, a nonprofit contemporary dance company with multiple outreach programs, including free classes for adults 65 and older, free classes for people living with Parkinson's Disease and their caregivers (in both Davis and Sacramento), the annual Davis Dance Project since 1997, and scholarships for families whose budgets can't include dance training. If you would like to support their work in the community, and have a lovely meal at the same time...This Sunday, it's a Chipotle Fundraiser for the PTDT! (Between 4 and 8 pm at the E Street location in Davis, non-deliveries only)

If you would like to support the work the Dance Theatre does in the community AND have a great meal at the same time...This Sunday, March 15, between 4 - 8PM, the E Street Chipotle's in Davis is donating 25% of all the money spent to the Dance Theatre. Make sure to show the ad (can be on your phone) or pick up a flyer at the Dance Workshop. (Deliveries don't count and neither do online orders that happen before 4pm).
