This group of SRVLL 12-year-olds played their final Little League game — on a stage almost no one reaches. Of roughly 6,000 teams that started the summer chasing Williamsport, they were among the last 52 standing, at the West Regional in San Bernardino.
They came closer than most ever will. But it won’t be the destination they remember. It’ll be the journey.
As 10s in 2024: District, Section, and State champions — the first SRVLL team to do it in 20 years.
As 11s in 2025: District and Section champions again.
As 12s in 2026: a District and Section three-peat, State champions once more, and a West Regional appearance.
Eight banners in three years. No age group in SRVLL history has done as much.
And none of it happened alone. From the players — THANK YOU…
… to their coaches, All-Star and regular season, who gave their time to share this game.
… to their families, who gave up summers, drove the miles, and cheered themselves hoarse.
… to their fellow SRVLL players, who stayed in their corner long past the last regular-season out.
… to the league volunteers who make SRVLL something they’re proud to represent.
… to everyone who donated to get them there.
… and to every friend, neighbor, and local resident who rooted for a dream that wasn’t even theirs.
And while this year’s roster of twelve closed the chapter, the legacy belongs to all sixteen players who wore SRV on their hat the past three years:
Blake A · Brantley B · Camden K · Camden P · Dane I · Emery P · Hudson B · Isaac H · Jackson A · Luke G · Mason H · Michael P · Miles C · Milo K · Parker P · Ryan B
And to every younger player in this league who watched them this summer: those guys were you. Same fields. Same jerseys. And the courage to dream. Williamsport is a long way from San Ramon Valley — and they got within three games of it! That dream doesn’t belong to somebody else, somewhere else. It starts on the field you’re already standing on. And when the next SRVLL team gets this far and goes all the way to Williamsport, these players will be cheering them on.
Thank you for three years of unforgettable support and helping these young men chase their dream.
