🚧 Notice: Virginia Creeper Trail Parking Lot 🚧

The Virginia Creeper Trail parking lot at the Abingdon Trailhead (Green Spring Road) will be closed on Thursday, March 5, and Friday, March 6, 2026, as crews make several improvements and updates to the parking area. The parking lot will be open and available for parking during the weekend, and will be closed again March 9-13, 2026.

Additional parking is available at the lot off Kings Mountain Road. Parking is also available at The Meadows Sports Complex, with trail access behind the soccer fields.

We appreciate your patience as we work to enhance the area for Trail patrons!

🥁 Introducing… Trout Days Festival on Saturday, April 11th from 12 to 4pm at the Speckled Trout Annex, 106 W. Laurel Ave!!! 🎉🙌 No entry fee for the festival, open to everyone.

Yes, there’s still a fishing tournament for our anglers. But this year, Trout Days is more than that.

We’ve got vendors and our sponsors on-site, a casting contest, folks learning fly-tying tips, family-friendly games, & more being planned right now. 🤩
