When the Stars, Stripes, & Speed event rolls into the historic Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Saturday, June 27, one of the most inspiring stories in the pit area will belong to Ed Bray of Orlando, Florida.
Bray isn't just racing for checkered flags. Through his Motor With A Mission program, he proudly serves as an ambassador for the American Legion "Be The One" Mission and the Trackside Veteran Salute Foundation, helping raise awareness for veteran su***de prevention and honoring those who have served our country. The program has already made a tremendous impact, with the race team and its community outreach efforts helping save the lives of six veterans.
Supported by organizations including American Legion Posts, the Purple Heart Foundation, Trackside Veteran Salute Foundation, and many others, Bray's No. 66 Legends car represents something bigger than racing. It's a reminder that no veteran should ever fight alone.
On the track, Bray continues to improve and battle for top-ten finishes, but his greatest victories may come away from the speedway as he uses motorsports to make a difference in the lives of others.
