It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Tony Olvera.
Tony was such an important part of the Prescott South softball family, and his impact on our program will be felt for years to come. He wasn’t just a supporter—he was a builder of what we have. So much of what our girls got to experience on our field is because of the hard work, time, and pride Tony poured into it to make it playable, safe, and something our girls could be proud to compete on.
More than anything, Tony was a dad who deeply loved his girls, Kamryn and Laney. He worked tirelessly to make sure they had what they needed to play the game they love and to have every opportunity to grow in it. His support was steady, intentional, and always rooted in love for his family.
And if you knew "Bob", you loved "Bob." There’s just no other way to say it. Some of our favorite memories will always be tied to him at the our field—working, laughing, watching his girls, and being part of something bigger than just a game.
🥎🥎 We would love to honor Tony Olvera by remembering those moments. Please share any pictures, stories, or favorite softball memories you have with him in the comments. We want to look back on all the moments with him and the people he loved most. 🥎🥎
We are so grateful for him. He will be deeply missed, but his impact is forever a part of our program and softball family. 🤍
