New passholders: starting today (Sept. 1) pay at least 50% of the applicable passholder rate and play the rest of the season.*

Current passholders: sign up by Nov. 30 for the 2027 season, pay 50% of the applicable passholder rate and maintain the 2026 rate.*

Late last week, the base coat pavement was laid for the parking lot. Parking spots will be temporarily lined. A final coat of pavement will be put down this fall.

In the clubhouse work has continued on the interior with tile panels being installed in the kitchen and finish electrical work continuing. Interior painting is scheduled to begin mid to late next week on all wall surfaces.

In the parking lot, final touches are being done to the grade in preparation for the base coat paving on August 26 and 27. As well as paving preparation, all of the light poles have been installed and leveled in the parking lot.

On the golf course, we have enjoyed some bountiful late summer weather and timely rain that has allowed the turf to recover from the summer stress period. Maintenance crews are preparing equipment and materials to complete the annual aerification of the putting greens beginning Wednesday and Thursday.

Outside of the regular busy summer play, Beaver Meadow hosted several special events and outings this week. On Tuesday, we had the Veteran Golfers Association out for an excellent afternoon of golf. Thursday we welcomed the Concord Police Department for their Golf with a Cop event that featured driving range, putting, and chipping challenges. Finally, on Friday we hosted The Friendly Kitchen for their fundraising outing.

Our in-house bunker crew has continued working on edging, restoring, and adding sand to the bunkers. We have now completed all 14 bunkers on the front 9 and 4 of the 18 bunkers on the back 9. Stumps have been ground, cleaned up and the area on the right side of 15 tee has been seeded completing restoration of the area where trees were removed this spring.

Clubhouse & Parking Lot Update
In the clubhouse, sheetrock crews have been progressing rapidly in all rooms and it is anticipated the majority of the sheetrock will be completed next week. Electricians have been installing circuit panels and other infrastructure in the mechanical room. The electricians have also been working with Revision Solar to integrate the solar array that will be installed on the roof.

In the parking lot, site crews have completed final rough grading of the main parking lot and are now finishing entry ways and cart paths around the clubhouse. Initial subsurface asphalt is scheduled to be put down over two days on August 26 & 27 with the final coat and lines going down later this fall.

Outing & Tournament Results
Several outings are taking place this week at Beaver Meadow Golf Course. Wednesday the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Funds for Education Golf Tournament with a full field of 144 golfers. The event raised essential funds for Capital Area Student Leadership (CASL) and Funds for Education. It was a great day for golfers to network with community leaders while supporting a great cause. Other events hosted this week include NH Water Pollution Control Association, NH Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Black Ice Pond Hockey, and The Jutrast Post.

Last weekend we hosted our annual Club Championship. A fun and competitive atmosphere was made with a handful of golfers deserving the honors of champion golfer at the Beav. The list of our champions can be found below.
