Welcome CNH Followers. There have been a few people who have asked about a reboot to the CNH Am. Just looking for feedback. Does a 36 hole event mid September played on 1 or 2 central NH courses make sense to try and start up again?

Congrats to our friends Sarah and Aaron Deuell on the sale of their house at 17 O’Neil Dr in Andover yesterday. WHat a pleasure to work with such amazing sellers!

Starting to plan for next year. Trying to get a competition committee developed and meet around the 1st of October. If interested let Jim Cilley or Matt Delois know. We need to push for corporate sponsors this year so we can pay the courses so that we can get premium courses to boost the interest in the event.

Great final day in the 4th annual CNH Am. We have 2 champions retaining their titles. Ken Nilson won the Brian Prescott Memorial Trophy for low senior and Jim Cilley claimed the overall prize. "It was a grind and quite honestly I just outlasted everyone else" said Cilley. Trailing Bobby Williams by 2 through 12 holes Cilley outlasted a few missed swings to claim the title by two strokes. It was the smallest field but our most highly contested event. Looking forward to 2016 already. Anyone interested in being part of a committee to help grow the event reach out to Jim Cilley or Matt Delois.

Finally a huge thank you to Ridgewood and specifically head pro Mitch Jefferson and superintendent Mike Ellis. The golf course was the best it's ever been condition wise and the set up was very fair but challenging.

Sign ups are open: Sign up on the http://cnhamateur.com website (link on this page). The only glitch is if someone signs up online it directs them to pay either via paypal (preferred) or via mail. The mail address says to Matt Delois at Pembroke Pines. Matty is no longer there so the address needs to be changed in that email. We are going to have it straightened out shortly to have the correct one but it's only an issue if someone wants to snail mail a check and not use paypal. Feel free to share this with every golfer you know in State.

After months of searching Ridgewood CC pro Mitch Jefferson has just informed Matt Delois and I that Ridgewood will host all three rounds August 14-16 of the 4th Annual Central NH Am. Sign up forms should be emailed out to club pros along with fliers this week. We hope to get a form on the website as well. Let's make it the best event yet.

I know how I usually just bug you about real estate but I need you, if you haven't already, to vote for Belmont HS in this arts grant program contest that ends today. My brother needs the funds for the classroom whereas Gilford who holds a lead now wants to buy a back up set of speakers for their mini choir room. Belmont doesn't even have a theater. Some cool new things we are doing for the event....raised the handicap limit to 10.0 for 2014. We also are in talks with the Seacoast Amateur about having a Ryder Cup between the top 10 finishers and top 2 seniors of each event. The dates and course for those matches are in discussion now (but we think everyone will be very pleased with where we are looking at hosting it).

We have confirmed that Pembroke Pines, Hanover CC, and Montcalm Golf Club will host this years event. Also we have added online registration. Once you register you will be sent an email and prompted to pay via paypal or personal check. Entries are now open!
