FLATROCK Training

We are truly honored and humbled to be recognized as Team of the Season by Adams County.🏆❤️

This recognition means so much, but it’s never about one person. It’s about teamwork, dedication, trust, and everyone who has contributed along the way. Grateful to be part of such an amazing team, and thankful for the support and encouragement that made this possible.

We celebrate this honor together, and we’ll continue to grow and strive for more together.

Thank you for all your votes!

Congratulations to our FLATROCK Training Center staff!

The Adams County Government, CO Board of Commissioners has named the Flatrock team County Team of the Season, recognizing their hard work and dedication to training law enforcement recruits and officers across the state.

Each academy class brings in an average of 60 new recruits, and the Flatrock team prepares every one of them for a career in public service. They also work tirelessly to improve training for current deputies and officers, who must re-certify every year.

We’re proud of their accomplishments and grateful for their continued commitment to service.

Academy class 43 recently completed Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) and scenario-based training with simunition rounds.

These training give recruits the opportunity to apply and build upon the many skills that they’ve learned throughout the Academy so far.

Through hands-on exercises and realistic scenarios, recruits practiced critical thinking, decision-making, communication, and the ability to put their training into action in real world situations.

Each step brings them closer to becoming more confident, capable, and well-prepared police officers.

We are honored to host the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) for their annual LEOSA qualification!

The experience in this picture speaks for itself — a combined 509 YEARS of law enforcement experience in one room! 👮‍♂️💙

That represents generations of service, sacrifice, leadership, and dedication to protecting our communities. It’s a powerful reminder of the knowledge, commitment, and brotherhood that make this profession so special.

At FLATROCK, we’re proud to support those who have dedicated their lives to serving and protecting others.

Respect the badge.
Honor the service.
Celebrate the brotherhood and sisterhood.

Amazing changed are happening at FLATROCK!

FLATROCK Training is getting an upgrade! Both of our shooting ranges are getting roofs, and crews are building stronger load-bearing walls to carry the extra weight. To mark the occasion, Sheriff Claps and our Flatrock staff left their handprints in the cement, a permanent reminder of the team behind the expansion.

🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET — 9.11.2001 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years later, we remember.

We remember the lives lost. The families forever changed. The heroes who ran toward the danger when everyone else was running away.

We honor the 343 firefighters, 23 NYPD officers, 37 Port Authority officers, and all the brave first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice that day.

For those who gave everything.
For those who still carry the scars.
For the families who continue to feel the loss.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — Forever in our hearts.
💙 Honor the fallen. Support the brave.
