Someone explain to me how Iran has been able to lie, murder, break agreements, kidnap, torture, and get away with whatever they want, with virtually no consequences, for 47 years.
No countries hold them to any real accountability. They make us (the USA) look like fools with every President.
A VERY short list:
1979: Seized US embassy, held 52 hostages 444 days.
1983: Backed Hezbollah Beirut barracks bombing (241 US dead).
1984–88: Attacked neutral tankers in Persian Gulf Tanker War.
1994: Backed AMIA bombing, Buenos Aires.
1996: Linked to Khobar Towers bombing (19 US dead).
2004–11: Supplied EFPs to Iraqi militias killing US troops.
2019: Drone strike on Saudi Aramco oil facilities.
2023–: Arms Houthis for Red Sea shipping attacks.
Apr/Oct 2024: Direct ballistic missile/drone strikes on Israel.
