We were spoiled and got the whole pool! The other teams had a meet. Great practice to our Saturday crew- 11 total! We even got in my favorite playful sprint exercise which works on reaction time too- partner races!

We had 8 brave souls come on our Saturday morning. Thanks to Coach Heath for sharing the big pool! I changed our practice and challenged them with the main set of 6 x 150’s- 50 build, 50 fast, 50 smooth.
200 swim, 200 kick, 200 pull
8 x 75- kick,drill,swim by 25 IM order
6 x 150 with 20 sec. Rest in between
100 easy
2 x 25 sprint from blocks
150-200 cool down

Our stroke clinic went swimmingly today! So appreciative to the Cola Tri Club for promoting it and to Drew Wellness Center for letting us host it there. We had 17 people come and it was a wide range of abilities;however, everyone learned several tidbits to help their freestyle body position and stretching out their strokes! We hope to host more clinics in the future!
