Our team is the best! Starting out the weekend with a great Saturday morning practice! Lots of opportunities to socialize, work on stroke, and sprint from the blocks with this one.

Today, we wrapped up the 1st Grown Up Swimming Columbia league season with our Championships of the World at the Drew Wellness Center. Lots of fun seeing everyone! It was a close meet, with the West Columbia Chlorine and Chase team winning by 4 points over the Irmo Manatees. We look forward to running a 2027 summer league too, so spread the word!

There were 16 official members at practice this morning and then a few of us went out to breakfast afterwards. There were 3 lap swimmers doing our workout but not sure about joining yet. Maybe they will in the future?

Lots of fun hosting our 2nd annual Cola Classic at the Blatt Natatorium at the University of South Carolina! Long course meters races are not for the weak! Great job everyone!

Grown Up swim meet #3 at Hunting Creek was a lot of fun. We realized that pushing a rubber duckie with a kickboard is much harder than we thought. Only the Championship meet left on August 23rd at the newly renovated Drew Wellness Center!

Grown Up meet #2 in the books for Columbia! Thanks to Edenwood Swim Club for hosting us. Congratulations to the Irmo Manatees for winning again! The highlight of the day was definitely the tube fun relay! Great job everyone!
