We often think of resistance as something to push through or avoid. But what if resistance is actually a teacher?

Join us this weekend for a special pop-up class where we’ll explore the places we experience resistance—in our bodies, minds, and lives—and discover how mindful movement can help us move through it with strength, awareness, and resilience.

Using resistance straps, we’ll create supportive challenge, build functional strength, and deepen our connection to the body. Together, we’ll investigate:

You don’t have to carry it all alone.

Life asks a lot of us.

To manage the schedules.
To hold the responsibilities.
To care for others.
To keep moving, planning, solving, and doing.

Sometimes we become so accustomed to holding everything that we forget what it feels like to be supported.

At YogaWell, we believe healing begins when you allow yourself to set some of that weight down.

When you step into the studio, you don’t have to create the space, lead the practice, manage the energy, or carry the day’s burdens by yourself.

We hold the space so you don’t have to.

A space to breathe.
A space to move.
A space to soften.
A space to simply be.

This week, consider where you might loosen your grip and allow yourself to receive support.

Let presence be your medicine.

This weekend, before you rush into the next task, the next plan, or the next distraction, pause and ask yourself:

How am I showing up?

Am I present in this moment?
Am I listening to what my body needs?
Am I moving through my day with intention or simply reacting?
Am I making space for joy, rest, and connection?

Presence doesn’t require perfection. It doesn’t ask you to have everything figured out.

It simply invites you to arrive.

To feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.
To notice your breath.
To savor a conversation.
To move your body with awareness.
To appreciate what is here right now.

So often we’re searching for the thing that will make us feel better, calmer, more grounded.

Sometimes the medicine is already available.

Some of the most powerful assists happen in active poses — when you’re shaking, strengthening, balancing, breathing through resistance, and discovering what you’re capable of.

A skillful assist in an active posture isn’t about “fixing” your shape.
It’s about helping you find support inside your strength.
Helping your body understand stability, activation, grounding, and possibility in a whole new way.

Sometimes one intentional assist can create a feeling your body remembers long after class ends.

You may return to Warrior II days later and suddenly reconnect to that same steadiness.
That same power.
That same confidence.

Because the body remembers experiences of support.

This weekend is more than an extra day off.
We honor Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

A day of remembrance for the men and women who gave their lives in service — and a moment to pause in gratitude for the freedoms, safety, and opportunities we often move through quickly.

Memorial Day carries both heaviness and perspective.
It reminds us how precious life is.
How fleeting time can be.
And how deeply peace matters.

In a world that constantly pulls our attention outward, stepping onto your mat can become an act of returning inward.

Not to escape the world —
but to reconnect with steadiness inside of it.

Inner peace doesn’t mean the world is perfect.
It means creating moments where your nervous system can exhale. It means you can hold space for the messy parts of life with more grace.

Today, may your practice become:
