Happy Monday everyone,
Lovely weather if you're a duck. Unfortunately we are closed today due to the rainy conditions.
We'll be back tomorrow Tuesday to help keep you cool form the heat this week and weekend.
Remember to try to reserve your kayaks and time you want to paddle a day or two in advance. We get busy on the weekends and rentals are available from 8am to 6pm.

Let the heat kick in,
did you know we do way more then just kayak rentals, lessons and guided kayak tours? We also host many fun kayak events and even kayak races on our waterways and it all starts with this exciting and fun race this Saturday on the Rock River and along the Hennepin Canal.

Crunch time,
The Tri-It Triathlon Adventure Race is this Saturday and we have competitors coming from near and far for this heated race.
Sounds like we'll have great conditions after the Friday night rain ends (if we get any at all) before race start time Saturday morning. Stop out and see all the excitement and fun. Race starts at 10am at the Cleveland Boat Launch before they race down river to Colona where they will hustle to their bikes for a 10 mile ride and finally a 3 mile run to the finish line.
If anyone would like to help volunteer for the Tri-It message me or Shelly Blagden Barreto or just stop by at 9am at Timbrook Field and let us know you'd like to help.

Happy Wednesday everyone, we been having an awesome week of amazing weather and we've had paddlers all week long stopping by.
Today Marta wanted to take her children out for an adventure and she gave us a call to see if we could help her out.
So we took them out for a fun guided tour down the Rock River.
Thanks Marta for visiting us with your lovely family. We had a blast.

Mary and her office group came up from Missouri for work and wanted to explore our waterways so she contacted us for a fun paddle down the Rock River. With the storms the last few days and this morning we weren't sure if we could get on the water, but the storms stopped just in time for us to make it happen.
Thanks Mary for trusting us to get you on the water safe in between storms. Safe travels back home.

Things were 💥 booming this weekend despite all the evening storms. The days were absolutely beautiful with great temps and a gentle breeze.

Rusty came down from upper New York for a visit and wanted to end his time in the Quad Cities with a relaxing float to wind down before heading back home. Great choice Rusty, we're glad you were able to get a hold of us just in time for the last rentals going out for the day on Saturday.
Also he chose a perfect time to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing sunset float down the Rock River and he finished just at dusk. Nailed It!!
Thanks Rusty, glad you enjoyed your time with us, safe travels back home.

We had a beautiful day full of kayaking both on the Rock River and the Hennepin Canal. Thanks to everyone that came out today to enjoy our waterways in between the nightly storms this weekend. The kayak adventures have begun.

Happy Friday Quad Cities, I know we have a rainy weekend ahead but there is plenty of dry hours and hot sunny days in between.
Tomorrow is looking amazing for our 2nd. beginner kayak class this spring before the rain moves back in later in the day.
