⚠️ SECTION CLOSURE: COAL CANYON 15 ⚠️

Coal Canyon Trail Section # 15 behind Paul's Fans will be closed as construction equipment is moving through the area for a project.

This is the only section of CC15 closed. The section on the opposite side of Paul's Fans remains open.

❗️ July 1: Permit Price Increase ❗️

Beginning July 1, 2026, Spearhead Trails permit prices will increase.

Current permit prices remain available through June 30:

👉 3-Day Permit: $21 → $25
👉 Annual SRRA Resident Permits: $33 → $38
👉 Annual non-Resident Permits: $63 → $68

We have kept our prices unchanged for as long as possible while the costs of maintaining trails, improving infrastructure, providing safe access, and expanding rider experiences have continued to rise.

This adjustment helps ensure we can continue delivering the quality trail systems, maintenance, signage, safety resources, and riding opportunities that visitors have come to expect from Spearhead Trails.

🔒 Want to lock in the current rate? Purchase your permit before July 1!

Don't forget:
👉 You must have a permit!
💰 There is no cost besides the permit!
📍 Starts at our St. Paul location (3461 Hidden Acres Road, St. Paul, VA 24283)
⌚️Ride takes off at 8pm, be there early to stage and sign-in!

This route has been chosen to mitigate noise for the land owners and neighbors, one of the main reasons night riding is usually prohibited on our trails. If this goes well, hopefully we can do more in the future!
