One of the questions we hear most often is:
“What does a typical day on retreat actually look like?”
While every destination has its own rhythm, all of our retreats are intentionally designed to create the perfect balance between movement, rest, exploration, delicious meals, and free time. There is nowhere to rush, nothing to accomplish, and plenty of space to simply be.
Whether you join us in the vast stillness of the Moroccan desert or among the lush volcanic landscapes of the Azores, you’ll settle into a rhythm that feels both grounding and deeply nourishing.
Your mornings begin slowly.
Wake to tea or coffee before gathering for an energizing yoga practice that welcomes every level of experience. Most mornings begin with mindful movement, breathwork, and teachings connected to our retreat theme.
After practice, we’ll enjoy a leisurely breakfast together before the day unfolds.
Afternoons are yours.
Some days we’ll gather for lunch before heading out on an unforgettable excursion. Other afternoons are intentionally left open for rest, reading, hiking, swimming, journaling, booking a massage, exploring the local area, or simply enjoying the beauty of where we are.
One of the greatest gifts of retreat is having permission to spend time exactly as you need.
Evenings invite you inward.
As the day winds down, we’ll gather again for restorative practices such as Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, meditation, or Reiki before sharing dinner together.
These quieter practices help integrate the day’s experiences and create space for deep rest, reflection, and meaningful connection
