The Vow of Remembrance is a charity tournament held in memory of our friend, Jay Teller.
On July 28, 2025, Jay took his own life. While many of us only knew him for a short time, he immediately became part of the community. Jay was the kind of person who put sportsmanship, friendship, and kindness first. Whether you played against him or just spent a few minutes talking with him, he was someone who made the room better by being in it.
We wanted to do something meaningful in his memory while also helping people who may be fighting battles we can't always see.
All entry fees from this event will be donated to the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. At Guild Vault Games, we believe in supporting those who put others first. As a thank you to everyone willing to support this cause, Guild Vault Games will match the total amount raised through entry fees with an equal amount in prize support. Every registration dollar will go directly to charity, and players will still be competing for a fully supported prize pool as a thank you for supporting others who need help.
This event will be played using Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition. Since the new edition is still fresh, additional event details, format information, and tournament guidelines will be announced after the edition's release and once we have had time to review the new rules.
The event will be held on July 25, 2026. Registration is $30.
Whether you're playing in the event, donating, or simply helping spread the word, you're helping support su***de prevention, education, awareness, and resources for those affected by su***de.
More than anything, this event is about remembering a friend. It's about coming together as a community, looking out for one another, and honoring the impact Jay had on the people around him.
