Hello MCSA Families!
Our first game day is almost here, and we’re so excited to be back on the fields with you and the players!
Before this weekend, please take a few minutes to review the quick checklist below, followed by the full game day details.
✅ Game Day Checklist
Arrive early! Allow extra time for parking. Players need to be at the fields 15–20 minutes before kickoff.
Need a jersey? Jerseys will be available at the main entrance for $25. Please expect a line.
Player attire: Jerseys must be tucked in, size-appropriate shin guards with socks covering completely, and players must wear soccer cleats or athletic/tennis shoes.
NO jewelry, beads of any kind, earrings, or metal/plastic hair accessories. Earrings are not allowed - not even covered.
Home team coach: Bring a properly inflated game ball.
Spectators: Sit on the designated spectator sideline, behind the spectator line and NOT behind the goals.
Be kind to our referees. The USSF Referee Abuse Policy is strictly enforced for spectators, coaches, and players.
Watch for updates! Check your email, Facebook, and the PlayMetrics app.
NO PETS and NO parking on the grass!
Full Game Day Details
🚗 Arrival & Parking
Players should be at their field with their coach 15–20 minutes before kickoff for check-in.
Parking at Heritage Park is limited. Please allow extra time and use available parking lots.
DO NOT park on the grass or along roadways. You WILL be ticketed.
👕 Jerseys
Jerseys will be available for $25.
If you need one, arrive early as lines can be long.
⚽ Players
Jerseys must be tucked in.
Shin guards must be appropriately sized for the player and fully covered by socks.
Soccer cleats or athletic/tennis shoes are permitted.
NO jewelry, beads, or metal/plastic hair accessories.
Earrings are NOT allowed. They must be removed.
Referees have the final say regarding player equipment and safety.
💙 Coaches
Please be prepared, demonstrate good sportsmanship, and help create a positive environment for all players.
Home team coach: Bring a properly inflated game ball.
FIRST game on the field: Take a bench to the field before the game.
LAST game on the field: Bring the bench back up front after the game. If you’re not sure if you have the last game, please ask!
U5–U7 do not have benches.
Coaches must share players when needed to ensure games can be played and maximize playing time.
Coach and player lines will be WHITE this season. Coaches and players must remain behind these boundaries.
👏 Parents & Spectators
Sit along the parent sideline opposite your team’s bench and behind the designated white spectator line.
Keep the middle areas clear for coaches, players, and referees.
Please follow the signs at the fields!
NO sitting behind the goals for any age group.
NO noisemakers.
U5–U7 players may sit on the sideline with parents since benches are not used for these age groups.

🚨🚨 Referees
Many of our referees are new and still learning. Please be patient, kind, and supportive.
Many of our referees are 11–12 years old, and most are under 18.
The USSF Referee Abuse Policy will be STRICTLY ENFORCED for coaches, parents, spectators, and players.
Please set a positive example for the kids.
🌧️ Weather
Games may be played in the rain if the field status is approved by the City.
LIGHTNING = DELAYS OR CANCELLATIONS
If weather becomes dangerous, please have patience, follow directions, and check the PlayMetrics app, Facebook, and email for updates.
Sometimes, we can delay games instead of canceling the entire day.
Please do not leave unless you receive direct communication from an MCSA Board Member or see an official update on our page or in the PlayMetrics app.
💙 Support & Questions
On the first game day, MCSA Board Members will be available throughout the complex.
Look for the GRAY MCSA SHIRTS - these are different from coach shirts.
Someone is also typically available at the Ref Shed for all game days.
