Ryker Centonze Racing races….dirt? 🫢 Ryker had the opportunity to test out a rocker kart at the end of the night at Bartlett Bridge. Ryker was a little nervous about climbing into someone else’s kart to hit the track but ended up running a good line and feeling out the track. Good news for him is that he loved it! Bad news for us….is that he loved it 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

We will see what the rest of this year brings. We are extremely grateful for the Goley family for always inviting Ryker wherever they race and encouraging him to try it. More to come, but for now, back to asphalt!

Sometimes you try things that don’t always show good results, but that teach you good lessons.

Claremont canceled so we took off to Pomfret (very late in the morning) and got there five minutes before practice was starting.

Practice did not go well. Ryk took on a decent amount of damage from overdriving it and it flew off the track with an aggressive turn 3 pass.

Made some adjustments to the kart which weren’t favorable for the heat and it slowed him down. Changed back for the feature and it rained out right before features started.

While the results didn’t show today, Ryker learned some humbling lessons and all day he kept pushing to better himself.

We will be back again, and hopefully will have results to show for it. But, for now we walk away thankful for the help received and lessons learned.

What a night for Ryker last night! He had the opportunity to race on Friday at Claremont Motorsports Park with the 603 Karting Series. Seven karts showed up to compete in a non-points race. Without a heat race and drawing second for the race, Ryker had a good run until a caution came out halfway through. Ryker and Abel battled it out back and forth, and Ryker landed in second. It made us so proud to see how clean he raced and didn’t lose focus. It was a huge improvement already from the beginning of the season, and I’m excited to see what’s to come from him! Thank you All Weather HVAC for returning to support Ryker in his 2026 season. All Weather was one of Ryker’s very first sponsors and this will be their third year with Ryker. We are thankful for Andrew and Sierra’s support. They have made an appearance at the track to watch which is Ryker’s favorite and we even get to watch Andrew wheel his modified into victory lane on Saturday’s🏁
