We are one day away from the first home game of the season! This year we are starting a Wildcat Fan of the Week for each home game. The fan seen showing the most spirit and helping cheer on the Wildcats will be chosen by our mascots and cheerleaders around 3rd quarter. They will receive a basket of Wildcat goodies and have their picture taken with the girls!

Looking forward to seeing who our very first Wildcat Fan of the Week will be tomorrow night!

Throughout summer workouts and conditioning and certainly as they began preparations and went through preseason practices for the season that began last Friday night, the Citronelle Wildcats thought of just one opponent: Jackson.

The Aggies had claimed the past two Class 4A state championships with an historic run and held a seven-game win streak against Citronelle when the teams met at Jackson’s famed Legion Field.

The Wildcats pulled off the upset, ending the losing skid to the Aggies in the form of a 22-13 victory. The win earned Citronelle Lagniappe Team of the Week honors. The Lagniappe Team of the Week is sponsored by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.
