I’m gonna make this short.

You dont need MONTHS to see a difference. All you need is consistency. This is just from January 1 to February 20. 10 lbs difference. 4.5+ inches gone. I don’t starve myself, I’m not sleep deprived, and I havent given up things I enjoy. And I work full time and have an Infant. By no means am I where I want to be but I am on my way!

If you can adjust your mindset, you can do it. I GUARANTEE you can reach whatever goal you have set for yourself… then surpass it. Let me help you.

It doesn’t take months to start seeing changes. All it takes is consistency and making conscious decisions every day with an end goal in mind. No, you will not be starving. No, you will not be too tired to do anything else. No, you do not have to wake up at 4am to reach your goals.

All it takes is 30-45 minutes a day, modifying ingredients for whole alternatives, and a little mental toughness to start the ball rolling.

The only hard thing about it is deciding you’re ready to make the change. Seeing the results will keep you going!

I am still working towards my own goals and am not where I want to be yet, but had to share what a difference only 10 days makes. 🎉

Life update since it’s been over a year since I last posted:
• working full time in the corporate world
• workouts look different- went from working out in the evenings to 3am ☕️
• met a ton of amazing people with my new job. It’s very empowering being surrounded by like-minded, driven people who uplift and push each other!!
• still experimenting with yummy and healthy recipes for me and hubs (he finally jumped on board with my kind of dieting😆)

Life is different than from a year ago but in the best ways! Hope everyone has been well and working hard/achieving every goal you’ve set this year! 🫶🏻

RDL Form Check ✅

First off, GET YOU INFINITY WRIST BANDS. These things have changed deadlifts forever for me. I’ve had them for over a year and totally forgot until recently.

•Feet shoulder width apart
•Knees slightly bent
•Hips fall BACK not down, it’s not a squat
•Back and neck neutral

Tips:
• Do not look forward, it causes you to curve your spine which will begin to cause it to ache.
• To target more butt, bend knees a little more. To target hamstrings, keep legs straighter.

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned in the last year is to learn to be ADAPTABLE.
As a business student (and now business owner), I know adaptability goes hand-in-hand with sustainability whether it be markets, competitive advantage, etc.

Well, recently I’ve come to learn it’s just as important to be adaptable in life, particularly my health journey.

I’ve never been one to count calories, keep track of macros, protein, etc. But having a baby changed my body composition. What once worked for me, doesn’t work as well now.

So, I started counting calories, keeping track of my protein intake, experimenting with supplements and ensuring I eat greens throughout the day.

LET ME TELL YOU that made ALL the difference. I was at a plateau. My first 10-11 months postpartum I struggled to lose even 5 lbs. my body changed somewhat but the scale wouldn’t budge. I don’t go based off the scale usually, but it’s okay to within moderation. And I knew 5lbs was doable and should be a healthy amount to lose. So why wasn’t I losing it?!

I needed to adapt to my new body. I needed to adapt my mindset from my old way of doing things to trying something out of my comfort zone. And now I feel better than ever.

Adaptability should be a skill everyone gains for their life. It’s hard to push away your pride or ego or even just to alter your routine, but it will provide you with so many benefits and allow you to gain new knowledge!

As someone who loves to eat out, one of my greatest struggles is finding a quick lunch to grab while out and about.

Here’s my go-to from Chick-Fil-A:

Order the grilled chicken cook wrap w/ fat free honey mustard

Substitute fries for the kale crunch salad. (It’s actually really good I swear)

This meal will keep you full for hours without feeling bloated. It’s packed with protein and good carbs! 💚 Hope this will help!

I am planning on attending a live REFIT experience class Nov. 11th in Birmingham, Al. I attended one before and it was an incredible experience.

This class will be led by the founders of REFIT. They are traveling from Waco, Texas to lead this class so it’s truly a rare opportunity. They usually have a meet and greet session with a photo opportunity.

They lead a 90 minute dance session and end with amazing heart works.

Tickets are $20 to buy in advance. Price will go up on the day of the event if any space is left.

I would absolutely love it if we went to represent Leakesville, Sandhill, and Citronelle! I hope some of you can attend!
